Description

Fog Light Delete. Fly under the radar by deleting those tell-tale factory fog lamps from your Mustangs front grille by replacing it with an aggressive Classic Design Concepts Performance Upper grille that features an intimidating wide mouth design.

Improves Cooling. Not only does this CDC Performance grille add great aggressive race styling to the front of your Mustang, but it also increases air flow to the radiator (compared to the stock grille) for improved engine cooling.

Quality Construction. This CDC Performance grille is made from OEM quality high pressure injection molded acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) material for it's superior strength and long lasting durability.

Application. Classic Design Concepts Performance Upper grille is designed to fit the 2013-2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT and BOSS 302 models. It does not fit the Shelby GT500 or V6 Pony Package. grille emblem not included.

Technical Note. This CDC Performance grille requires permanent modification of the stock fog lamps for installation.

Very clean and aggressive look

Very nice quality material feels very durable. Was a bit of a pain to put on but with the right tools I was able to knock it out in a couple hours. Great price for a mod that really changes your cars looks

Nice

Came packaged nice, install was easy, take time to do it right. Removing fog lights and hiding wires was hardest part and still wasnt bad.

Aggressive and very much worth it!

Nice quality and gives your car a much meaner look over the stock grille. $200 kinda seems a little steep but if you are considering this, go for it!

Can you put an emblem on this grille? If you can, can you put it in the middle, to the side or both?

Very hard to find an emblem that fits mainly because AM did not send me a grille emblem bracket kit along with the grille. I am trying to contact AM myself about this, because any ordinary emblem is designed to fit standard billet style grilles, but with this one, the architecture of this grille prohibits an emblem with small screws to be attached to it.
Yes, you can add an emblem. There are surfaces that could use molding adhesive to mount an emblem on both sides. There is also a surface that is about 8"x5" in the center of the grill that runs from the leading edge of the grill and leans both down and back toward the grill. This piece appears to cover the hood latch assembly. Although this is a flat surface in the center of the grill, due to the angel, any emblems mounted to it may not have the intended affect.

Would this fit a 2010-2012 gt with a bmc conversion of a gt-500 front end? I have a 2012 gt and would like to make it look like a gt-500 but i would like to put the grill style of the 2013 gt-500 on the conversion.

This grille is not compatible with the GT500 so it wouldn't be compatible with your GT500 conversion either unfortunately.
Do it. Shouldn't be a problem with fitment as long as you get the conversion.

This is finished to not require painting, however you can take this to a body shop to be painted a different color.

Unfortunately, this grille doesn'tinclude the mesh in the middle of the grille and would need to be custom made as CDC doesn't make one.

Yes, this grille is made of a similar material which will match the OEM lower grille on your Mustang.

is the radiator exposed to any debree in the road 1 answer

The CDC Performance Grille is intended for performance applications that require less air and cooling restriction around the radiator. This grille leaves he front end more open compared to the factory grille which will leave the radiator exposed. However, small debris and rocks may be able to get past the grille but will require extensive force to cause any damage to the radiator. This grillehas been used by customers for years and we have yet to hear any damage to the radiator or other motor components after installation.

Does anyone know why part of the mesh on one side looks like it's missing? It seems to give the grille an unbalanced look. 1 answer

The CDC Performance Grille has less mesh on the driver side to allow for proper airflow to the air box, which draws air from the grille.

At this time there is not a version of the CDC Performance Grille made for 2010-2012 models.

I installed the upper and lower CDC Performance Grille on my 2014 mustang GT. My question is if american muscle offers a grille insert that will fit this specific design for the upper and lower portion. 1 answer

No, the CDC Performance Grille will only fit 13-14 Mustangs.

I have a 2013 GT without the grill fog light package, mine are on the bottom. Will this affect the installation? 1 answer

The grille fog light package that you have will not affect your installation of the CDC Performance Grille (13-14 GT, V6, Boss). In this scenario, the fog light assembly will not be affected as they are in a different position than in the upper grille.
