    Review & Installation Video

    Review & Install Video

Hey, what's going on, guys? Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Cervini's C-Series Chin Spoiler, fitting the front end of all 2015 and newer Mustangs. In this video, I'll be going over all the functionality and styling you need to know about Cervini's C-Series Chin Spoiler, as well as the materials and construction. I'll even take you through the installation, which, I'll tell you up front, will not require any drilling or permanent modification. We'll use your factory mounting points and will get a solid one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. So let's jump right into it. Cervini's C-Series Chin Spoiler I have with me today will be for all 2015 and newer Mustang owners out there looking to swap out their boring factory chin spoiler for a more aggressive race-inspired design that will help with down force by also standing out at the car shows. The C-Series Chin Spoiler is coming directly from the trusted name of Cervini to offer you an aggressive race track inspired design that fits perfectly in the front end of your S-550. The detailing in the lines of this design fit perfectly, especially where your fog lights section ends and your lower grill section begins. The line tear will blend in perfectly to the body style of that S-550. Now, in addition to the styling I just mentioned, the functionality is really gearing towards down force. Down force, basically referring to the aerodynamic qualities of the chin spoiler, helping you keep the front end of your vehicle planted on the ground for maximum traction, especially useful for the guys out there running at speed on the track. As far as the materials and construction goes, expect this to be manufactured right here in the U.S.A. out of a durable polythene material, giving durability and strength for long-term use but also maintaining a slight flexibility in case you come in contact with something like a parking barrier. Now, in addition to that flexibility you can slightly see here with this, this will also be offered in a matte black textured finish for obviously good looks, and it's ready to be bolted on right your S-550 right out of the box. But if you did want to get it painted, you could obviously take it to a custom paint shop and have it paint-matched to your factory colors. As far as the price goes here, guys, expect to be spending just about 350 bucks. Now, my personal opinion, it's not a terrible price considering the great quality materials with a slight flex to make sure it doesn't crack. The good quality matte black textured finish and of course the race-inspired design with the down force improved qualities. Moving along to the installation portion of the video, like I said in the beginning, this one is going to be a straightforward install job. Something anybody can do with just a simple ratchet and socket set in about 30 minutes in the driveway at home. So to kick things off, you want to get down under the front end of your S-550 using a ratchet and socket set. Unbolt that factory chin spoiler and set that aside, but hold on to your factory hardware, because you are reusing that with a Cervini option. Take your Cervini option, put it into place and begin bolting it down, using that factory hardware. Once it's all tightened up and in place, lined up properly, you're good to go. About 30 minutes, like I said. Maybe a little bit more depending on how familiar you are with this job. Overall, definitely getting a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Just wrapping things up here, guys. If you're the owner of a 2015 or newer Mustang and you're looking for a way to switch off your factory chin spoiler on your front end, pick up a very aggressive race-inspired design with a little bit more down-force qualities, you might want to check out the C-Series Chin Spoiler from Cervini, which is available right here at americanmuscle.com.

            Looks amazing!! Install for PP

This chin spoiler looks great, but does not fit cars with the performance pack. The belly pan does not line up with the screw holes, it comes up about an inch short. The only way to make it fit pp cars is to purchase the belly pan from the base GT model. Part number FR3Z17626-B which cost about $260.00 so think hard about the additional cost. If you are will the spend the extra money the chin spoiler does look amazing!

            Its worthy

The spoiler looks sweet, totally happy I got it. Install is kind of a pain, amateur home mechanic, first off the directions are horrible, look up on u tube how to install, its all very vague. Hardest part is getting off the over engineered factory spoiler, holy cow there's a ton of screws and push pins, you wont re-use some of the plastic push pins and instead have to use the metal clips and screws to install the new spoiler, once you get that figured out its not bad, but its definitely time consuming. About 2.5 to 3 hours start to finish. Buy it, you will be happy you did.

            Cervini’s completes the front

Gives the front a much more aggressive look and, in my opinion, completes the lines of the 15 - 17 S550’s. Material looks good and the install was straight forward; best if you have access to a lift or at least jack stands.

            Looks great!

This chin spoiler looks amazing! Only thing I have bad to say about it is that apparently if you have a performance package, the belly pan and the chin spoiler holes will not match up at all. I tried doing some modifications to make it work, but while driving the belly pan came loose and started dragging on the ground. I eventually went home and took the belly pan off so I guess it turned out well in the end. If you have a performance package, beware. You will have to take the belly pan off or you can get a non-performance package belly pan if you want to have one.

Beautiful piece, really added to the front end appearance of my mustang. It is a little pricey but the quality from cervinis is worth it. I paired this with the APR carbon fiber front splitter, definitely sets my mustang apart from the local cars here.

            Epic

It was annoying to install (mainly the last step where you have to connect the front of the splash shield to the front of the chin spoiler using little plastic tubes that wrap around the screws), but totally worth it. One other slightly bad thing to note is the paint job. It's kind of weird just like it is on Cervini's louvers. The material is really rough the touch, and seems like it's super easy to scratch if you're not careful with it. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm sort of expecting to have to give it a new paint job one day. Despite those cons, it looks legitimately epic. I've looked through all the chin spoilers and thought long and hard about it. In the end, I went with this one. It totally fit with the factory fascia. In fact, I'd say this is what the Mustang should look like by default. If you get your ride lowered, it will look even better.

            Cervini's Chin Spoiler

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this spoiler, but to me it looks the best compared to others. At the end of the day it looks good, the fit was spot on, instructions were just ok, the texture was good. No scratches or defects, i might paint it later, but i'm happy with it and like always AM had this shipped out super fast.
