Clearance I have the a modular 4.6 with a Kenne Bell 2.8h Mammoth, will this hood clear that. I already have a trufiber cowl induction hood that fits with slight modifications to make room for the blower. would this be the same deal as my current hood?

    • You may have to make some slight modifications to make your Kenny Bell supercharger work with this Cervini's Terminator Style Heat Extractor Hood - Unpainted (99-04 All).

What color is the hood? and do the vents open/close? i know it says it comes unpainted but is it white? or does it have like a grayish look? and i saw another website that says the vents open and close, is this true?

    • Most unpainted body parts come primed and ready for paint. Though this may not be the case with this hood so I would recommend calling the reps at American Muscle to verify. Also, the vents on the Cervini's hood are the same design and serve the same functionality as the OEM 03/04 Cobra's vents. The inserts are made up of a fully vented surface that's always open, so they do not physically open and close.

The stock hood had 2 mounting studs on each side that attached the hood to the hinges. The Cervini hood has threaded inserts rather than studs. Am I supposed to find studs to go into those threaded inserts so that the hood can be attached to the hinges?

    • The Cervini's Terminator Style Heat Extractor Hood will install with the included bolts.

Is there any interference between the hood and the tops of struts when utilizing Maximum Motor Sports caster/camber plates? I'm thinking if this hood is unlined like the stock GT hood, then clearance should not be an issue. Thanks

    • No, this hood will not interfere with the struts when using the maximum motorsports caster camber plates.

I purchased a fiberglass cobra hood and the latch seems to be far too high. Are you supposed to cut off the dowel pins that fit into that latch?

    • When installing the Cervini's Terminator Style Heat Extractor Hood, the hood latch and hood bumpers may require some adjustment. We recommend contacting our customer service department so that we may best assist you with this.

      Great Product

The hood is made very well and looks great on my mustang. Installation was not hard but you will need to adjust your hood latch (there are videos online on how to do it)! Once that is done the hood fits great!!

      Authentic Terminator Hood

After being on the fence in terms of the direction I wanted to go, I went with the factory looking replica terminator hood from Cervini's. It was delivered promptly considering it was back ordered, but upon inspecting the package, I noticed the extractor inserts were missing. This was despite the product description listing them as included. Buying these outright would run another $100+, sonic called AM. The customer service was great and shipped them next day. As for the hood, fitment was spot on, and I had a shop prep and paint it which turned out awesome (mine is the 01 Blue GT in the pics). Definitely recommend, even if the final cost was a little steep.

Heat extractor hood makes my car hot... HOT LOOKING!

This item is a little expensive. But it makes my GT look so much better. Functional heat extractors are a major plus definitely over the GT non functional hood scoop trim. I Installed it in maybe 20 minutes with provided hardware straight out of the box where I took it to the shop for paint. Perfect OEM fit. Looks terrific.

      Great Look but Exspensive

The hood is immaculate and looks absolutly stunning adds a whole new look to the Mustang from the front, everything about the car seems to change for the better. Although i knew the garage owner so he cut me a deal it was still very exspensive to get it painted and installed took a few days, but was well worth it. Would totaly do it for any mustang.
