        Hydraulic cylinders

Easy instal works great. Sorry no pictures. Convertible top works outstanding. Repair took only a few hours. I’ve also installed cold air intake, trunk hydraulic rods, and several broke plastic interior parts. Am also going to replace hood cowl and add hydraulic hood rods. Have 17 American Eagle torque thrust wheels.

        5 1995 GT - GrahamA

        Lift Cylinder

Ordered two of these for my 03 GT. Both work great. Fairly easy install. The top raises and lowers much faster. Both arrived very quickly and they were packaged well. I would definitely recommend ordering both at the same time. I replaced one and the other started leaking about two months later. Save yourself some time and headache and do them both at once/

I bought an '01 GT convertible for my first car and the convertible top doesn't go down unless I put it down by hand. The button for the convertible does absolutely nothing when I press it and I'm wondering if this could possibly be an electrical issue or if replacing the cylinders would fix this problem. When I first got the car, the convertible top button sort of worked, but after putting it up and down a couple of times, I noticed that the problem got worse and worse until it just stopped working. Thank you 1 answer
Would this OPR convertible top hydraulic lift cylinder fit my 1996 mustang-GT? 1 answer
My top rises what, to me, seems very slow. It takes maybe 30 seconds or so. Is this actually slow? Will replacing the hydraulics speed this up at all or is this the normal speed for a convertible top to raise? 1 answer
I was looking at the install guide to see if this looked easy enough for my husband to do at home, and first thing it says is to lower the top. Unfortunately the top is stuck up on my Mustang. Is it possible to do this repair with the top up and it will be just super inconvenient or is it absolutely vital to have the top down to get these replaced? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks! 1 answer
Hi, one of my hydraulic lifts is leaking very badly. I was wondering if I needed to replace that one only or buy 2? 1 answer
I bought the car used, thought filling the motor was my fix but noticed one side was sluggish. Turns out that the old cylinder piston was bent and disconnected from the top. There is no torx bolt to be found. I want to order this but am guessing it doesn't come with any bolts. Where can I source this bolt? 1 answer
