Description
High-Performance Race Damper. The 7.50-inch LS1 Engine Harmonic Race Damper reduces crankshaft vibration to enhance engine longevity and reliability during high RPM operation. Designed primarily for engine swaps, it also supports supercharger pulley installation through its dual keyways and centering boss features.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 1045 steel, this damper provides strength and wear resistance. Its compact design is shorter than other LS dampers to accommodate tight engine bays and features a natural steel finish without degree markings.
Installation. Installation requires standard mechanical skills with no additional drilling needed. Using Corvette accessory mounting brackets ensures proper belt alignment when installing on LS1 Corvette engines.
Application and Fitment. This damper fits primarily the 1997-2004 Corvette C5 and the base 2005-2007 Corvette C6 models, where its shorter length is advantageous for engine swaps. Corvette-specific accessory brackets are required for proper belt alignment in these applications.
