    Features & Details

    • Power Gains in the 1500 to 6500 Rpm Range
    • Lightweight Aluminum
    • Fits 1986 to 1995 5.0L EFI V8 Mustangs
    • Made in the USA
More Power. The Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold has shown significant gains in horsepower with it's unique V-shaped crossover design and is ideally suited for street and strip applications.

Modern Design. This RPM II manifold consists of a V-shaped crossover design with an increasing cross-sectional area, which passes over to eight large tapered runners to produce significant gains in horsepower over existing designs in the 1500 to 6500 rpm range.

Application. The Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold is designed for use on the 1986 to 1995 5.0L EFI Mustangs. A 70mm throttle body is recommend because a 75mm throttle body will require port matching.

Technical Note. The 1994 to 1995 Mustangs will require the use of the Edelbrock Throttle Body Adapter part# 3835 and Adapter Kit #8025. It will also be necessary to replace the stock strut tower brace with Edelbrock's Strut Tower Brace part# 5225 for clearance. The RPM II EFI Intake Manifold may not fit under the stock hood on the 1994-1995 Mustangs, a taller aftermarket hood is recommended.

    Fitment: 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 Details

How much hp will this Intake Manifold add to my stock 86 fox??

    • To a stock 1986 Fox, you may be able to see gains around the 10-15 horsepower range. This however will benefit from other modifications such as heads and cams as the RPM range does not match that of the stock camshaft and the stock heads will run out of steam before the intake is at its peak airflow.

is a larger hood necessary with a 94 mustang or will I be able to get by with the stock one?

    • HI, to use the Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold a taller aftermarket hood is recommended without a taller hood the manifold can make contact with the stock hood.

is this intake shorter than the typhoon manifold and will the bbk spacer for the performer fit this manifold? i ask because i have a typhoon but it is messed up and would like something with a shorter deck height due to my stru tower brace rubbing the top if the manifold

    • You will most likely still have clearance issues with the Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold (86-95 5.0L). The Performer and the Typhoon are roughly the same size. Edelbrock does offer a strut tower that will fit over the Performer, which can be found with item # 5225 on their website. If you are referring to a manifold spacer, only spacers designed for the intake manifold will work. A Typhoon spacer will not work with a Performer.

Do these come polish? What size injections should I use? And Throttle body? Mas air sensor ? I got a Medium noticeable cam it’s a 90 mustang gt 5.0 5 speed I want to get the most HP as I can get street and strip I am planning on 410 gears for the rear later weekend ride no long distance driving or high way thank you

    • At this time, we do not offer the Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold in a polished finish, though Edelbrock does offer this as a special order under their part number 71231. Injector size will be determined by the remainder of your setup. With this intake and a cam and exhaust, the stock injectors will work fine, but if adding aftermarket heads, we recommend 24 Lb/Hr injectors. A 70mm Throttle body works very well with this setup. 75mm throttle bodies will require port matching of the intake.

Does this intake have an E.O. number? If not which intakes do you sell that are legal in Calif?

    • The Edelbrock Performer RPM II EFI Intake Manifold does not carry a CARB EO number. At this time we do not offer any CARB certified intake manifolds.
