This kit also features Exedy's high clamp pressure plate for maximum performance. And all of Exedy's discs feature spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock and to protect your transmission from wear and tear.

    It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

        Does this work with the factory fly wheel?

        • Generally we recommend upgrading to the same brand flywheel to guarantee fitment and for better overall shifts. That can be found here: With that being said, the factory flywheel should be able to be used, this clutch would just require that you have it resurfaced.

        Will these fit the 2018 mustang gt with the MT82

        • This Exedy Mach 600 Clutch is designed for 2015-2017 5.0L GT Mustangs with a MT-82 manual 23-spline transmission. We have not yet tested it on the newly refined MT82.

            Great clutch for a daily driver

            I have a Roush blower on my GT and was looking for a clutch that would be tame enough for daily driving and handle the added torque of a PD blower, and this clutch hits the mark. I daily drive this clutch in Los Angeles traffic and love it, it's grabbier than the stock clutch by a margin of 10-15, but it's very manageable. Pedal feel is slightly stiffer than stock but is a welcome change.

            All good so far...

            I am still in the break in period, but so far so good. fitment was nice and everything seems to be working good. will update after properly broke in. note the clutch is heavier, was one of my worries since I DD my car but its not anything that will kill you.
