Description
High Performance Catalytic Converter. The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter with 2.25-inch inlet and outlet is designed to provide effective emissions control for racing and vintage vehicles. It reduces harmful exhaust emissions while supporting severe-duty, high-temperature applications in pre-OBDII engines. This converter is ideal for custom racing setups and classic hot rods that require a green solution but is not legal for street use in certain states.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a stainless steel spun body, this catalytic converter features a high flow 200 cell metallic substrate built for durability under extreme conditions. The compact 4-inch diameter by 8-inch length design allows for easy installation in tight spaces, finished in a natural stainless steel texture that offers corrosion resistance and longevity.
Installation. Installation requires welding with slip-fit connections for both inlet and outlet. No clamps, gaskets, or mounting hardware are included. Basic fabrication knowledge is recommended to ensure proper fitment and secure mounting.
