Description
Aggressive Sound Performance. The Flowmaster 80 Series Offset/Offset Same-Side-Out Oval Muffler; 2.50 Inlet/2.50 Outlet delivers a powerful, aggressive exhaust tone ideal for muscle cars and performance vehicles. It provides a distinctive interior resonance and exterior sound, enhancing the driving experience with a classic muscle car exhaust note. This muffler is designed for side-exit exhaust systems mounted in front of the rear axle.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features full MIG welding for maximum strength and longevity. It is finished with high-temperature black paint that offers a sleek appearance while protecting against heat and corrosion in demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward, requiring new hangers which are not included. The muffler has slip-fit, clamp-on inlet and outlet connections, allowing easier adaptation to different exhaust configurations without extensive modifications.
Application. Designed to fit universal applications with some adaptation potentially required. This muffler is suitable for classic and late model muscle cars, as well as street/strip vehicles that desire a side-exit muffler with aggressive sound characteristics.
