The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive exhaust sound combined with high performance, ideal for street and strip applications. Designed to enhance exhaust flow on high horsepower and forced induction vehicles, this muffler provides a deep, powerful tone while reducing interior resonance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel with full MIG welds for added strength, it features a large oval chamber case construction. The muffler is finished with a high-temperature paint coating that offers a sleek black appearance and protects against heat and corrosion for long-lasting use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections and options for clamp-on or weld-on mounting. The muffler uses new hangers that are not included. Some adaptation may be required to fit specific setups.
Application. This muffler is designed as a universal fit for various vehicle types including 4 and 6 cylinder engines, classic and late-model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs. Some adaptation may be necessary to ensure proper fitment on different vehicles.
