Proving their potential to boost performance on dyno test after dyno test, the Flowmaster Super 40 Series mufflers are the ideal modification to increase horsepower, torque, and gas mileage. Flowmaster has taken all the excellent features of their 40 Series mufflers and kicked them up a notch for the Super 40 Series, adding innovative Delta Flow technology and premium design that is modeled off of Flowmaster’s famous race mufflers.
Unleash the Roar. You will be able to maintain a low interior resonance while turning up the deep, aggressive growl of your Mustang with the Super 40 Series muffler. Show other drivers that you’re the leader of the pack with a powerful hot round sound.

With a 16-gauge aluminized steel that is fully MIG-welded, the center/offset oval muffler from Flowmaster is an example of exquisite craftsmanship. Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Flowmaster backs their mufflers with a limited lifetime warranty.
Application. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Offset Oval Muffler (3”) is designed to fit 1979-2004 Ford Mustangs, with the exception of the 1999-2004 Cobra models.
