Description
Advanced Horsepower, Torque and Engine Efficiency. A Mustang equipped with the Flowmaster Super 50 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler - 3.0 will not be spitting out clouds of black smoke. Instead, it will become a more efficient vehicle that sounds better and delivers the maximum amount of horsepower and torque for your 1979-2004 model. Featuring an offset inlet/outlet design, the Super 50 series muffler is built from 16 gauge aluminized steel and it is the perfect choice for large displacement motors. A mild sound emits from the welded pipes, which will maintain their condition for years to come.
MIG-Welded for Minimal Interior Resonance. Power gains and better mileage aside, the Flowmaster Original 450 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler stands to be one of the most enduring yet, with its MIG-welded frame and efficient pipe connection. Interior resonance is kept to an absolute minimum and the exhaust tone produced is described as "mild to stock".
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Warranty. With every purchase of a 50 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler, a Lifetime Limited Warranty comes as standard. Flowmaster's warranty can be redeemed by the original purchaser. Coverage remains valid for workmanship or material-related defects. It is void in cases of misuse, poor installation and normal wear.
Application. The Flowmaster Super 50 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler - 3.0 is specially crafted for application with all Mustang models between the years 1979 and 2004. The muffler contained in the box features an offset configuration to perfectly match its centered inlet/outlet diameter.
