The Ford Performance 302/351W Z-Head 63-cc Aluminum Cylinder Head With 7mm Valves is the ideal cylinder head for your 302 or 351 Windsor engine-equipped Mustang. This assembled cylinder head is designed to provide optimized airflow and improved combustion via a number of innovative features. The result is increased power and torque, giving you the performance edge on the track.
Advanced Performance. The Ford Performance 302/351W Z-Head 63-cc Aluminum Cylinder Head with 7mm Valves features a fully CNC-machined 63-cc combustion chamber producing more efficient combustion, as well as reduced carbon build-up. This cylinder head uses 7mm stemmed 2.02-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves providing improved airflow. Additionally, this aluminum cylinder comes built-in with high-flow ports, maximizing airflow even further.
Beefed-Up Construction. The Ford Performance 302/351W Z-Head 63-cc Aluminum Cylinder Head with 7mm Valves is manufactured from cast A356 T6 aluminum for superior strength-to-weight ratio. This cylinder head weighs 27 pounds, making it much lighter than stock. The intake and exhaust valves are constructed from stainless steel and utilize manganese-bronze guides for smooth operation. Also, this cylinder head comes pre-installed with steel alloy valve seats for an effective seal.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. The Ford Performance 302/351W Z-Head 63-cc Aluminum Cylinder Head With 7mm Valves is designed to bolt-on directly to your 302 or 351 Windsor engines. The installation will need expert-level mechanical knowledge and skills, as well as a complete set of tools. You will also need a full day’s work. As such, professional installation is highly recommended.
Application. The Ford Performance 302/351W Z-Head 63-Cc Aluminum Cylinder Head With 7mm Valves fits 302 And 351 Windsor-Style Engines.
Application Notes. The Ford Performance 63-cc Aluminum Cylinder Head With 7mm Valves is intended for competition use only, and should not be installed on a vehicle that will be driven on public highways and roads. This cylinder head will require roller rocker arms with a 1.65:1 or 1.5:1 ratio, and a 0.150-inch offset intake pushrod cup. Additionally, custom headers and a raised exhaust port exit may also be required.
