This Ford Racing kit comes complete with all the components needed to swap out your ring and pinion gear. It includes pinion and carrier shims, crush sleeve, pinion seal, pinion nut, ring gear bolts, Shelby GT500 high-torque pinion bearing, heavy duty carrier bearings, cover gasket and all the required hardware. Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners.
Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. This kit includes the required 2012 Shelby GT500 High-torque pinion bearing.
This Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Installation Kit is designed for use with 8.8in rear axle equipped Mustangs, including the 1986-2014 V8 and 2011-2014 V6 models. Works with both Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) and solid rear axles.
Technical Note: Does not fit the 2013 Boss or 2013-2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs with axle codes S-215-D and S-219-D.
