    Ford Racing Upgrade Replacement. If your front wheels have excessive "wiggle" or play it may be time to replace your old worn out Front Wheel Hub and Bearing Assemblies with a brand new set of direct fit upgrade replacements from Ford Racing. Bad bearings are not something to be ignored, they should be replaced ASAP to avoid a possible accident.

    Boss 302S Original Equipment. These Ford Racing Front Hubs are the same exact ones found as standard original equipment on the FR500S and Boss 302S race car.

    ARP Wheel Studs. The 3" ARP wheel studs included with the Ford Racing Hubs are a Press-in style with a thread size of 1/2-20 Right Side inch, a Knurl Diameter of 0.549 inch, and a under head length of 3.315 inch. These ARP wheel studs require the use of open end lug nuts - not included.

    ABS Compatible. This Ford Racing Front Wheel Hub Assembly features an Anti-lock Brake System reluctor ring making it the ideal replacement for ABS equipped Mustangs.

    Is there a reason you don't offer the one use retaining nut when selling the replacement front wheel bearings with reluctors? I can't use the Ford performance kit that they come with because of the 3 inch ARP studs require open lugnuts and I want to retain my factory lugnuts. Seems to me you would sell them or recommend a person buy them at the same time.

    Can you press out the 3 inch bolts and use my standard studs ? or if not can you please tell me what nuts i can purchase from you that will work . I have the RTR wheels that you sell will they stick out alot.


    • It is possible to remove the wheel studs but is Highly recommended to take them to a shop to be properly removed and replaced. The studs are pressed in closely to the ABS reluctor rings and if that is damaged, you would have to purchase a whole new hub assembly. You cannot reuse your factory studs from your wheel hub. You would need to purchase 10 new OEM sized wheel studs to replace the ones you would like to remove.

    3 inch studs with stock wheels? Can the 3 inch studes be used with stock wheels? there is a note that open end lug nuts must be used. Will the studs stick out past the wheel? Seems like a no brainer to get the ford racing part as it is the same price as the standard part but I wouldn't want the stud to stick out past the wheel.


    • They will stick out further. Your stock lug nuts will NOT work. You will have to use the open ended ones. Many racing formats require the use of longer lug studs and that's what these are for.

      No Brainer!

      I needed to upgrade to the 3" ARP studs and found that by the time you order the studs and have them installed into your old hubs and also buy the new spindle nuts, that for just a little more you can get this whole kit with everything brand new, it was a no-brainer!

      Complete kit

      Everything you need to replace worn out front wheel bearings. Once you start adding up the cost of OEM replacement parts (whether you save the old studs or not) going with the uprated bearings in this kit, make it an obvious choice. The extra length studs do not look goofy on my DD with 2010 GT500 wheels and can be trimmed with a grinder if necessary.

      Great product

      great piece of mind when running slicks. I seen some stock studs shear from the corner loads. This gives piece of mind and looks awesome. Just make sure you also pickup the boss 302S open lug nuts as stock ones will not work.

      This is a beautiful part my car is nice and smooth now only problem is i had to remove the gold studs from the new hub because they where way too long besides that perfect job should take about 45min to an hour per hub took me a little longer just because i had to knock the studs out of the hubs and swap the new ones with the old one.

      Gt500 had bad wheel bearing

      Bad grinding is gone !!! Noise goes away on heavy right turns louder on left turns... left wheel took a shot 3-4 months ago destroyed rim ... replaced both w bearings all quiet.........

      Ford Racing Front hubs

      Great product and very easy to install. Reason it took so long is that I threw in a brake pad change and a brake bleed at the same time. Now to replace the studs on the rear axles. Another plus is that I have the original hubs as spares for the track

      fast and easy

      Had to get bearings replaced, so got whole hub assembly with extended studs. Easy installation: remove wheels, take off nut grease caps, take of nut, replace with new hubs, replace nut (preferrably New), torque, replace grease cap, put wheels back on and torque. Handling improvement appears provably in my head or compared to shot bearings, but tighter and crispier response.

      Necessity for some

      If you track your car you need these- hubs are a wear item and the longer studs are stronger, easier to get wheels on and off of, and allow you to run spacers if extreme front wheel/tire fitments are being used. Highly recommended.

      Excellent Quality at a Great Price!

      Excellent product at a great price when you consider the cost of new OEM Hubs and ARP Wheel Studs; not to mention the effort required to modify your own hubs. Straight forward install if you are mechanically inclined and there is no need to remove the brake lines. As I recall the supplied Hub Nuts are one or two MM larger than the OEM Nuts. The correct part number for the required Open Ended Lug Nuts from Ford Racing is M-1012-G. They come in boxes of 4.

      Easy install less than an hour with power tools

      This is for those who do not want to mess with removing the the stock studs and putting in the extended ARP studs. With it all in the hub it makes it very easy to install. Also if you do frequent track/HDPE events you will wear the hubs out. With the extended studs in the hub it makes for a quick and easy replacement.

      The hubs are as advertised. American muscle order processing and shipping is second to none. The hubs came with the spindle nut which is a one time use and normally sell for $20 each so these were a very good value. The longer studs will not suit everyone as they will stick out past most wheels and open ended lug nuts are not attractive. Some racing sanctioning bodies require the longer length studs and open lug nuts. I was disappointed to find the ARP studs are the ONLY improvement over stock the Ford racing hubs use the exact same bearings as stock.

      A Perfect Fit !

      Wider tires put a bit more pressure on the bearings. So the original bearings wore more quickly. The Ford Racing Parts were a fit perfect and very easy to replace. Steering and handeling are night and day better. Highly recommend, Great quality parts!!
