        Big Horsepower Axles

        I have these axles in my 17 Roush and my 19 GT A10 car which is twin turbo makes 1,000 plus Horsepower, you cant break these axles they are the best which G-Force builds them for Ford, its basically G-Force Outlaw axles!! Plus lifetime warranty, 1,800 bucks well worth it!!

        Axles and driveshafts are a necessary upgrade if using drag radials or slicks at the track .... stock axles are garbage and Ford should be embarrassed putting this garbage on a Mustang with 460 HP

        They do the job, very easy installation straight. I left off the transbrake on my 2018 mustang a10 with over 700hp they held up just fine, without any suspension modifications.

        Just installed the Ford Performance axles and these are a work of art compared to stock. Just the visual comparison is quite impressive. This is a must for 700 HP Mustangs.

        5 2015 GT - TravisR Installation Time: Full Day

        Installation

        I have only put a few miles on the half shafts, but since they are from Ford Racing I don't think I will have any issues with them. The install was straight forward. I ended up using the LMR instructional video because they showed how to take the whole spindle off and included torque specs during the installation. I did it in my garage on jack stands. The hardest part I had was removing the driver side spindle. The halfshaft came out before I could get the spindle off. Ended up snapping a 3 arm puller (cheap Harbor Freight), so I bought another one from AutoZone and was afraid that one was going to snap too for as much torque I was applying to finely get the spindle to slide out. Install went smoothly except for snapping one bolt (my fault, but it would have been nice for any of the many instructional videos to include Fords to mention that fact). It took me a full day because of the spindle issue I had and not having the right puller. Otherwise I could have had it done in 5-6 hours. Notes: There is no torque spec for the bolts attaching the break caliper to the caliper bracket (learned that the hard way). Tools needed: Jack, jack stands (4x), 3-4 lb dead blow mallet, 6" three arm puller ($40) and pry-bar. Impact wrench is really nice to have. 21 1/4 is the largest socket you will need and the only standard socket used. 9mm, 10mm, 14mm,18mm and 21mm sockets/wrenches. cheater bar (I used the box end of a wrench). inlb torque wrench and lbft torque wrench (20-203 is the range of torque specs) Blue Lock tight and zip ties. The hardest tool I had trouble finding was a lbft torque wrench that went up to 250lbft.

        4 2017 GT - JohnW Installation Time: Full Day

        They feel great, but having some noise upshifting. It's just like transmission to axle noise but about double. It seems to only be upshifting. Need somebody that knows if it's just from heavier duty shafts and mabe need to add some differential bushings or could it be something wrong. Triple checked install every thing looks good, but did not take back apart. Thanks

        Ford Half Shaft’s

        These axles are one of the best out there! I’m making over 700hp to the tire and these are a must! They can handle hard launches! G-Force actually builds these for Ford so you know they are some good ones!!

        5 2016 V6 - 1337QU15C0P3R Installation Time: Full Day

        Great half shafts!

        I was in the process of upgrading my stock differential to a 3.73 torsen so I threw these in as well with a new driveshaft. The construction of these new half shafts are ford performance expected quality. I have no doubt that these half shafts will survive hard launches. I recommend also picking up a driveshaft safety loop for added protection.

      Adding these halfshafts can replace doing the Steeda IRS upgrades or does this complement it?

      • The Ford Performance Halfshaft Axle Assembly will be used to handle more power and load before half shaft/axle breaks occur. The Steeda IRS upgrades are used to assist in getting better traction and handling.

      • Hello, these are an excellent upgrade to the stock half shafts! As far as the weight difference goes, these are a little beefier but are also made with high strength alloys. So I would say if there is a weight difference between stock it shouldn't be by much.

      What's the difference between this kit and the M-4130-M?

      • This halfshaft axle assembly kit has been modified to fit GT350's, whereas M-4130-M cannot.
