        Where is this installed?

        • This is installed on the backside of the engine near the flywheel and clutch.

        Stock gt 2013 ? What does this actually do to a stock gt 2013 ?

        • You will loose horse power after 6800 RPM in a stock GT; This part is designed to support high level of RPM. You will need this when you install cobra jet intake manifold and cams. Because all of the horse power will show in high RPM. If your car is stock don't waste money on it.

        Would this work on my 2016 GT if I put the Cobra Jet Intake Manifold on?

        • This is only designed for the 11-14 GTs and 12-13 Boss 302s.

        • We would highly recommend a tune for this Ford Performance TI-VCT High RPM Competition Pulse Ring, especially if your vehicle is equipped with additional aftermarket components.

        with automatic transmission is this pulse ring still located in rear of engine at flywheel?

        • The Pulse Ring is in the some location on an automatic near the flex plate instead of the flywheel.

            High rpm

            Once you install this item you will get a check engine light with some codes about a misfire. You need to do a crank relearn to fix the problem.

            It's the same.

            It has the exact same engineering number as the original. Cross reference with the Ford parts department and there is absolutely no difference. Fits perfectly, though.

            P0300 Random misfire

            Too much work for what it’s worth. Caused a random misfire SEL. Try taking out your transmission twice in 2 days in your garage with just a jack and jack stands...not fun

            Solved my RPM issues

            This solved my rpm isssues I was having on the stock pulse ring. Some people don't have this issue, but my tune files allowed for a 8000 rpm limit, however I was only able to get to 7600. Mine is a manual (Tremec Magnum XL) and usually it's the automatics that have this issue. I thought it was a tuning issue until I replaced this ring with no other changes or tune and boom, car pulls to 8,000 rpm no problem now. It's zinc coated, so it looks a little shinier. But other than that you can't really tell the difference between it and the stock ring.

            Proven quality

            If your going to build a high horsepower fast revving coyote that goes over 7000 rpm you will need this trigger wheel to make sure your crank sensor is reading correctly. It's essentially a stock gt trigger wheel but it's hardened and zinc coated and has the CJ part number engraved on it..... But also has the Ford (gt mustang) part number stamped on it.....

            Not so good

            Part came chipped off on a tooth,both times. A got a replacement from the first one and second one was the same. Gave my 5.0 a bad missfier

            Redline monster

            After installing this item along with the cobra jet intake manifold,TB, CAI, and long tube headers my car revs to 7900 rpm with eas and pulls HARD

            Helped my auto 2012 GT get pas that 7700 hump. On the dyno the car showed 7900 rpm now.
