      Great system

I had the stage 2 installed yesterday by a certified ford mechanic with the tune. I noticed the difference as soon as I pulled onto the highway. All I can say is WOW. What a difference. Love it.

      Power Pack

I installed this a couple of months ago. The installation is straight forward and took about 2 hours. Power gain is noticeable and low end torque is great. Only complaint is the pinging at low RPMs. I'm probably going to get a new tune next year to hopefully get rid of the ping issue.

      Noticably Quicker

Noticably Quicker after install. The car was designed for this upgrade. A must have. Still getting 28 mpg on cruise at 80 mph on level groung. It's only been 3 days but it seems to have droped off 2 mpg in normal/easy driving. Note: Installed along with the FORD Performance/Borla Sport cat back exhaust. (Sound awesome).

      It's True

I was very skeptical about this install.I only had 20000km on my warranty left so I did the install myself. After a 2 hour install I took the car on the highway and opened her up and I was grinning from ear to ear.Why dont they offer this beast as a factory option. The only downside is plugging the sound tube at the fire wall.I though about this problem for a while and came up with a great solution I dismantled the sound tube halfway and plugged the tube with the provided plug at that point.Life is to short to scrape half your hand off trying to remove and plug that sound tube at the firewall. No rattling, No check engine lights, just a genius way to a painful removal. No one but me and you will know and this will save you a painful part of the install.

      Performance as expected

Even though I haven't had my 'Stang on a Dynomometer, I definitely felt the difference in both performance and sound. The upgrade that the tuning device provided thru Ford feels like it even enhanced the gear ratio...feels like more torque to the rear wheels even though the 3:73 ratio remains the same. My Ford dealership did a great job and even had to get a code from Ford in order to use the tuning device. I'm sure this is done in order to maintain the warranty. The dealership had my car for a full work day so be prepared to part with your vehicle for a little while.

      Huge bang for the buck

Throttle response is greatly improved and the mid-range grunt makes the car much more fun to drive. Torque down low is huge and pulls harder all the way to redline. I will be recommending this kit to all of my customers.

Beware of the "NLS" (No Lift Shift 'strategy')

Great fit, performance gains are noticeable (did it at the same time as an exhaust, so can't really say how much this might have also helped). Read any of the previous reviews. However... the elephant in the room, NLS or No-Lift-Shift. Can't be tuned out, can't change how it behaves and if you don't use it you will be punished for it. If you like to bring the car to the tracks, well good luck. I can't for the sake of me understand how it feels so half-baked-executed. And proudly carrying the Ford Performance name. Here is what to expect: - Accelerate at full throttle, or almost full throttle, let's say on 3rd gear. - Change gears towards 4th at the end of the RPM range. - Keeping the accelerator always engaged would be a bit suicidal on a track because it would upset the balance of the car too much. These cars are very powerful and RWD. - So, do a normal gear shift, trying to get back to full throttle smoothly and swiftly playing with pedal and clutch. - NLS will probably show it's ugly head, ON FOURTH (the gear we are already in, so it's too late, no NLS needed anymore until a next up-shift later on if ever). - And here it comes: this is chaotic, the car stumbles, the gas feed is turned on/off in super fast succession to keep the revs at some assumed RPM target, balance goes crazy because of this micro engage-cut-engage-cut gas behaviour, suddenly the thing stops doing this and it goes back to full gas throttle violently. - Congrats, you might have survived this hypothetical gear plane-crash-like change from 3rd to 4th gear. If it happens to you, please pass the word around. This has to be fixed.

      Great Bang for the Buck!

What are you waiting for? Great deal for a tune/throttle body/air intake! Easy instructions included along with plenty of online videos. I'm a do it yourself guy, but definitely not a mechanic and it took about 3 hours (sound tube) :( to complete. 2017s do not require the cutting of any tubes like the 15/16s. A Dremel is a must to trim the engine cover if you plan on putting it back on. Gains are real and can be felt over 4000 RPMs. I would highly recommend this product to any Mustang fan out there.
