      Worth every penny

I just put this on my 2016 GT PP mustang. The car just rolled over 30K miles when I put this on several weeks ago. I did my homework and figured this was the best bang for the buck. I am glad I did. The throttle response and low end picked up significantly. The car, I swear even drives better. I don't beat my car up and usually drive it like a granny. I do, however, enjoy on-ramps on the interstate and now I can tell you I enjoy them even more. I think the car should have come like this from the factory since Ford is willing to honor the warranty I figure they know that the tune and set up is safe. I installed this myself and it took me longer than most mainly because I took my time to make sure I did things right without haste. The sound tube removal that seems to be such a pain in the butt took me about five minutes since I used multiple extensions and a swivel to reach the retaining nut. I used an air ratchet and I got it off easily. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to eliminate the low-end lag that the S550 is notorious for. Thanks to AM for sending the product so promptly. Also, look at some of the installation videos online since the installation instructions from the Ford Racing website seem to be more of a check list than a how-to. Steve

      Awesome Intake for Your GT!

This intake is amazing, what a difference in sound and power. Had some trouble with the sound tube removal and software pro cal tuner download but once I figured it out I was set. Took longer than expected but still worth it.

ONLY GOOD IF YOU WANT YOUR WARRANTY

Had this Power Pack for quite a while, although I never had it installed because my local Ford Dealers are all run by children and couldn't figure out how to tune the car... I was left CARLESS for THREE WHOLE DAYS (during Summer 2018).. I got sick of it and just installed it myself this past week (Around New Years 2019 and I should also mention that Fit and Finish is what you would expect from OEM Shelby parts). I do notice a difference however, it is not night and day, Butt dyno definitely feels it in the mid range, however IAT is higher while in stop and go traffic (however this is not a big deal since it is an open element 'cold' air intake and I doubt anyone would be racing in traffic)... However, since I installed this myself, there goes the warranty which I personally could care less for. If you care about your warranty then this is the best route for your money. But, if you don't care about your warranty, you could easily go Lund or PBD tunes (not even with an aftermarket CAI as I'm sure with the stock airbox, a Lund or PBD tune would spank my car in a race). Overall, I would recommend for anyone who wants to keep their warranty and wants an extra 'oomph' from their coyote, however obviously... A Lund or PBD tune would net larger gains.

Great modification for a great price

The Ford Performance Power Pack 2 was the first performance modification I bought for my 2017 mustang. SO WORTH IT! You get good gains at peak power but where you really feel the extra power is at low RPMs since you get an extra 40 TQ around 1500rpm. If you are looking for a good performance upgrade this is the pack for you. It is a big bonus that you can keep your warranty if you have it installed at a Ford dealership, just be careful what dealership you go to to have it installed; the one I went to charged me through the roof to have this intake/throttle body installed.

Improved low end performance and torque

The Performance Pack gave a noticeable gain in low RPM torque and it seems to be smoother all the way to redline. Install was fairly easy, took about an hour and a half including loading the tune. Hardest part was removing the sound tube and once I figured out the best approach it wasn't that bad.

      Ford Performance Power Pack 2

Simply the best way to keep you car warranty and wake up the coyote engine. Noticible gains while driving and once you floor it the response is instant. Be sure to also have some extra widths on your tires for more grip.

      Significant increase in power

Significant increase in power I absolutely Love the way it looks under the hood of my car completely fits right in and also it looks like factory. I did a lot of research before I purchased it and was not disappointed in the least . My car is 17 GT Auto and it changes the line pressure and shift points and now it pulls all the way to 7200 before it shifts and has more low end torque and will easily burn the tires even with traction control on so I half to be a little more easy on the launch .

      Power Pack

I installed this a couple of months ago. The installation is straight forward and took about 2 hours. Power gain is noticeable and low end torque is great. Only complaint is the pinging at low RPMs. I'm probably going to get a new tune next year to hopefully get rid of the ping issue.

Noticably Quicker after install. The car was designed for this upgrade. A must have. Still getting 28 mpg on cruise at 80 mph on level groung. It's only been 3 days but it seems to have droped off 2 mpg in normal/easy driving. Note: Installed along with the FORD Performance/Borla Sport cat back exhaust. (Sound awesome).
