Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com and I'm taking a closer look at the MMD Axim Wheel fitting all 2005 to '14 Mustangs. Available in your choice of either silver, charcoal or black. If you guys haven't noticed, MMD has been cranking out everything from new wheels to spoilers and everything in between, all with the goal of separating your ride from the rest. Now if you wanna keep an eye out for the rest of MMD's massive line-up including new wheel releases and even some new project car builds, well just click on that link below to subscribe to our YouTube channel. And while you're there, drop us a comment and let us know how we're doing. So MMD stands for Modern Muscle Design and the Axim here definitely represents that philosophy very well. Now it's no secret that this is a more modern wheel design when compared to other traditional Mustang wheels, thanks largely in part to the convex ten spoke design. Now what that convex ten spoke design means is if I turn this wheel to the side a little bit here, you can see that those spokes actually bulge out a little bit before dishing back into where the lug holes are, making for a real unique appearance on your S197.Sizing wise, the Axim's are available in both 19 and 20 inch diameters and widths ranging from 8 ½ to 10 inches. If you've seen our wheel videos before, you know where I'm going with this. Stick the wider wheel and tire in the rear like a lot of Mustang owners prefer, and you'll have the tried and true staggered fitment. On the other hand, if that's not exactly the look you're going for and you would like to be able to rotate those tires in the future, then you might wanna try the square or standard fitment and stick the same width, wheel and tire on all four corners.Give you a better idea of some of the fitments on our own cars here, we're looking at the 2014 GT equipped with the staggered 19 inch charcoal version, while our 2005 V6 back on the lift, is equipped with the standard 19's in silver. Finally, project MMD back on the Dynojet is rocking the gloss black 20 inch versions which are staggered.Whenever picking up a new set of wheels here at americanmuscle.com, you do have a couple of different options. Of course, you can just grab the wheels by themselves if you'd like. But then you have to grab tires separately. Get them mounted and balanced, all of which can be a little bit of a hassle. So to alleviate some headaches, we have assembled a few pre-built tire and wheel kits where we pair your new Axims up with some of the top tires on the market today in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing even if you're lowered an inch or two.On top of that we take care of all of the work for you. We mount them and balance them. Install your optional TPMS sensors. And on top of that, we ship them to your door absolutely free. Now if you guys want to learn more about some of these pre-built tire and wheel kits including picking up those optional TPMS sensors or even picking up a new set of lug nuts, just click on the link below to head back to the product page if you're not there already.Installing a new set of wheels and tires is pretty basic stuff and can easily be accomplished in about an hour's time using basic hand tools and a floor jack. You wanna first crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air. After that, jack the car up, swap out all four wheels and tires. Tighten up those lugs and you should be good to go.If you have any questions about the wheels themselves or about the install, do not hesitate to reach out to one of our Mustang experts. They're always standing by ready to give you a hand. So if you're looking to take a different or modern approach to the aftermarket Mustang wheel, then you're definitely gonna wanna check out the Axim from MMD, available exclusively here at americanmuscle.com.
