        Worked great!

Make sure to buy the degreeing tool! If you don't you are asking for an issue! I think I cost me $85.

I went with these cams because they needed minor to no modifications done to the engine. They sound and the gains are there!! After the install i got it Dyno tuned and it made 293hp and 299 torque.

4 1999 GT - LarryA Installation Time: Shop Install Installation Cost: $500-$1000

Great idle sound, nice , well machined cams.

good product, but need to give the buyer more info on installation. The 99 GT has pressed on timing gears. You cannot reuse them. Can use new stock gears/sprockets for a 98 GT. But you also must buy spacers from Ford to bolt them on to the cams. The sprocket won't tighten down with out them. The cams are machined back too far . The sprocket will just flop around on the cams without them.

        Chop Chop!

If you’re wanting that classic muscle car sound, these cams are definitely for you. If you’re looking for performance, then maybe you should look at some other options. These cams sound amazing and are definitely something you should consider. Power gains are there for sure, just nothing like you would see from a larger cam. Compatible with a completely stock motor! That’s why I went with them, and even did the install myself. Am very pleased with these cams and how they made my little ole 2 valve sound and perform.

        Pretty Cool Cams

I own a 01 Mustang GT and these are my first Car Cams and I have been happy. You can find better ones but if u want something fairly cheap and just for the moment. Then these Cams will be good. They give a good amount of HP to the Mustang bust there are better ones.

What stage are these cams? Also you don't require new valve springs? Thanks!

      • The Howards Rattler Cams are not a "Stage Listed" cam from the manufacture due to the size of the cam lopes and less aggressive cam lift. The Howards Rattler Cams can be paired with the factory or most aftermarket valve springs.
