Description
Increase Power. Now your 2015-2017 GT can have even more horsepower and torque just by installing a HPS Short Ram Cold Air with Heat Shield. You will see an increase of 18 horsepower and 22 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels. The included Heat Shield blocks engine heat to maximize the cooling effect of the Intake. This Blue Short Ram Air Intake completely replaces your factory air box and filter.
Heavy-Duty Housing. The HPS Short Ram Kit features in pure stainless steel 4-inch mandrel-bent aluminum alloy, steel t-bolt clamps, and conical air filter create an innovative Cool Air Intake that will capture more dirt than OEM. You’ll drive 100,000 miles before you need to get this serviced.
No Tune Required. This HPS Short Ram Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your coyote powered GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang computer. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Simple Installation. HPS designed this Cold Air Intake and Heatshield to be installed easily with the use of basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for installation.
Not CARB Certified. This HPS Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.
Application. This Blue HPS Short Ram Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield is specifically designed for use on 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT Models.
