      Description

      Correct For A Lazy Drive-By-Wire Throttle. Most modern-day vehicles, including your Mustang, have done away with mechanically adjusted, cable-driven throttle assemblies and replaced them with computer-controlled drive-by-wire assemblies. Drive-by-wire systems employ a sensor that reads the pedal’s position at the throttle. This information is then sent to an actuator at the throttle body, opening and closing the throttle plate. Unfortunately, drive-by-wire systems have one major downside: input lag. Often your Mustang fails to accelerate as soon as the pedal is pressed, instead taking half a second or so to respond. JMS Chip has concocted a simple solution to this problem: its PedalMAX Terrain Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device. 

      Improve Drivability. This throttle enhancement device connects inline with Your Mustang’s throttle wiring, raising or lowering the input of the throttle depending on your desired input sensitivity. For example, it can reduce throttle input by 50% for rainy or icy conditions and raise input by 50% for quick, responsive throttle. 

      On-The-Fly Adjustability. This product is equipped with an optional, remote-mounted controller fitted with a simple rotary dial to adjust input sensitivity. This dial includes -50, -25, 0, 25, and 50-percent reductions/increases to fine-tune your desired throttle response quickly and on the fly.

      Easy Installation. This product installs into your Mustang in mere minutes, connecting to your Mustang’s factory wiring connector without any cutting, slicing, or modification. 

      Weatherproof. This product is fully waterproof to protect sensitive electronics from water contamination during wet weather conditions. 

      Warranty. A 2-year warranty protects this product against manufacturing defects.
