Button Press Power Improvements. Your 2005-2010 Mustang's largely controlled by a computer – gone are the days of tightening up your cables and opening your carburetors for more fun. The Sprint Booster V3 helps overcome these challenges. With a few button presses, the Sprint Booster optimizes your Mustang's computer-controlled engine perimeters for impressive performance gains and faster throttle response, especially off the line and in the mid-range.

Easy On-The-Road Access. The Sprint Booster comes filled with three custom tunes that allows you to obtain maximum performance when you want it, and simple, easy-MPG fuel efficiency when you need it. You can keep the Sprint Booster plugged in and modify your settings on the road. Thanks to its compact design and simple interface, changing performance settings is a breeze.

Valet Mode. Valet mode limits the acceleration of your Mustang by 55 %, 65% or 75% via 3 selectable levels. Valet mode is activated/deactivated through a 3 digit PIN. By limiting the acceleration there will be a significant reduction in vehicle's performance, power and torque, so you will not have to worry about lead footed valets.

Pedal Lock Mode. Stop would be auto thieves in their tracks. The Pedal Lock mode provides extra protection against unauthorized vehicle use. The driver can deactivate the acceleration  ability of the vehicle through a 3 digit PIN.

Installation. Installing the Sprint Booster V3 Power Converter and optimizing your Mustang takes about 10 minutes. Simply replace the accelerator pedal's OEM connector with the Sprint Booster module, plug it back into the free size of the module, and then plug in the selector switch to the Sprint Booster module. That's it!

Application. The Sprint Booster V3 Power Converter is designed to provide button-press performance in just a few minutes for any 2005-2010 Mustang, including V6, GT, BOSS, GT350 and GT500 models.

I have read reviews that mention gettin an "F" for fault on the display after plugging in the booster. Is there any way to refrain from getting this, or is it inevitable? Did this happen to you? Did you see a difference after plugging it in?

    Had some problems

    Easy to install. It takes longer for the door to stay open to reset the car then the full installation. Now how it works. Did not work at all. Came up with a flashing F in red. Car was not able to be driven. The throttle was so touchy that the car jumped every time you tried to pull off. Or it would spin the tires. Cant have that. Called American Muscle and they directed me to call the manufacture SprintBooster. I talked with a guy by the name of Norman (Norm). Told him my problems I was having. He had the answers and knew exactly what was wrong. I pulled the controller (not the harness) and sent it to SprintBooster. Called him and gave him the tracking number. He sent me a new unit out that day. After getting it in the mail I was excited to see what it was going to do. Installed the same way and it came up and worked perfect. All I can say is wow. You can sure feel the power gain now. It is amazing. If you want to do any mods to your car. This is the first one that I would do.     Great Response

    Something there...

    I feel very little difference (immediately set to "RACE 9"), I mean I do feel a slight quicker throttle pedal, but not so sure I feel that big a difference; have not yet played with other modes (LOCK or VALET), so I can't say about them; easy installation, didn't "mount" controller, only slid to between seat and console and noticed a flashing, looked and showed "F", so I placed Lil' farther back (no pressure to face of controller), and after car off few minutes, recrank, and have yet to have the issue again. Can't necessarily say a bad product/purchase, I'm just not so sure I'm feeling a difference justifiable to the price; for not much more could get a lower end programmer that ALSO adds power, so...

    Not sure it stacks with Bama X4

    Error in the display. Seems like it changed the throttle sensitivity but no way to adjust it.

    Problem Child

    The Sprint Booster takes all of two minutes to install onto the accelerator pedal waiting to hook the battery back up takes longer. I ran into the same problem one of the reviewers had. At the initial installation I got a "F" on the little LED screen which I assume to mean fault. I tried reinstalling several times with the same result then I did a quick shut down and restart and amazingly got a red R with manual transmission dot. and I quickly clicked it to # 9. The car did seem to respond faster with it installed. The manual says it remembers the last setting and maintains it which is good because the next several starts came with the "F" before getting the "R" again. It has been about 2 weeks since then and it has been all "F" so there seems to be some defect in the unit. BTW, checking System Booster's website had no mention of the "F" and its meaning.

    Easy install, when I started it up I got a blinking Fault code and it didn't work properly.

    Could of been 5 stars

    If it was not for the Fail "F" code coming on 95 of the time. Make it unchangeable until you get a " sport or race" code to come up. Feel like playing roulette. Every time you start the car. when it is working it is great. Love the better throttle response. Need to work on shifting of auto. trans. "race" setting really cranks up the throttle plate opening speed so shifting get little wacky.
