OK, I see tons of reviews saying these work fine on 11-14 S197s with the GT500 strut mounts. But in the questions I see two responses from Ricky36 stating that the only way to make the GT500 strut mount work is to use Ford Racing springs and shocks. Which is correct?

    • These will indeed not fit a 2014 mustang with the Ford Performance GT500 Style Strut Mount Upgrade. For the GT500 strut mounts to work on a 2014 you will need to pair this up with Ford Racing shock/struts and springs from Ford racing.

Hi, It says that this strut will only fit all 05-10 Mustangs. I have a 2012 GT500 will this work because it has the same Koni part number as the one that lethal performance has for sale and also the Koni website. On there websites it says part number 8750-1030 will fit 07-14 Shelby gt500's. 1 answer
I want to get these struts in conjunction with FORD RACING GT500 STYLE STRUT MOUNT UPGRADE (05-14 ALL), and EIBACH SPORTLINE SPRING KIT - COUPE CONVERTIBLE (11-14 GT, V6) for my GT. Will this combination work? 1 answer
Will they fit in Eibach Pro-Kit for 11-13 lowering springs? 1 answer
How will these work with H&R Race Springs? I just purchased H&R Race Springs for my 09 V6, I am replacing my Eibach Sportlines as I don't like how the rear springs cause the car to rest on the bump stops. I figured when I take it apart I might as well go ahead and replace the shocks and struts as well. I was wondering how these struts and shocks would work with the H&R Springs? I am looking for something that I don't have to mess with the adjustments on them. More less just looking for a bolt on and go setup. If anyone could give me any input that would be great! 1 answer

Will it fit with Eibach Pro kit for 2012 GT? My stock strut mount started making clunky noise. Now, I have stock strut and Eibach Pro-Kit Springs - Coupe & Convertible (11-14 GT, V6, BOSS). Will KONI STR.T Front Strut (05-10 All) and GT500 strut mount fit with Eibach springs? 1 answer
Fitment Question These are listed for 05-10 cars, but I was under the impression that these will work on the 11-13 cars if you use the GT500 strut mounts. Is that correct? 3 answers

      Great Replacement

Had a strut from my eibach kit fail. Replaced it with one of these because money is tight. Fit great. Handling is much much better than the failed strut obviously. Also I trust Koni more than eibach.... so...

Rides like stock, Handles like a champ

These Koni STRTs goes hand in hand with my Ford racing K springs. I was worried that after lowering the car it would ride rough but I was wrong. These two combo feels exactly like the Track pack suspension but the car looks and handles much better.

      These feel great!

I did a lot of forum reviews before installing these when I added the Sportline lowering springs at the same time. I'm going for a budget race inspired hopeful track day or autocross setup, but really it's a DD. It's important to get the appropriate shocks/struts to handle the more aggressive spring rate and lowered compressed suspension if you get loweing springs. These are the perfect budget minded middle of the road solution. No rebound or compression adjustments but they feel to neutralize rougher city road conditions even with the lowering springs while keeping the car at higher speed road variances nicely planted. In other words the rear end doesn't pogo and the suspension in general now doesn't take time to recover itself in rolling sweeping corners or hilly roads, freeway dips at higher speeds, while still allowing comfort for daily driving. I recommend these shocks and struts.

      So far so good

I have a 14 gt and bought lowering springs for my car and found that the stock strut mounts were garabage. I bought a set of the gt500 strut mounts and found out that they couldn’t be used on the 11-14 struts so I had to bu these struts to fit the mount. They fit my car and seem to be working just fine paired with the gt500 strut mount so I can confirm if you have a 11-14 and want to use the gt500 mounts you can use these. As far as the ride I feel like it’s a bit smoother compared to stock and I couldn’t be happier.

      Koni STR Front Strut

Very disappointed in useful life of these struts. I installed a set on a 2012 V6 and after 25,000 both of them were leaking oil and needed to be replaced. Ride quality and handling were about the same as the OEM struts so not work the money.

Love these struts paired with SR lowering springs. When installing these I clocked my strut mounts 180 degrees to keep the camber in spec.

      Struts fit 2011-2014 Mustangs

If you are looking to put these on your 2011 to 2014 Mustangs do not forget to get the GT 500 style strut mounts, otherwise they will not fit. This way you can get rid of the poorly designed stock strut mounts.

      Perfect feel

Installed with steeda sport springs. I Used the gt500 strut mounts to use these with the 2012 ... Stock ride with brembo package track pack was a bit bouncy on the highway. After these installed no more jouncing or bouncing around anymore. Solid firm ride.
