        Koni STR.T

Combined these will Roush lowering springs, gt500 strut mounts, and gt500 lower control arms. Great ride, much better hamdling, and all noises gone in suspension.

        Best front struts

These are a bang for your buck. These are a step up from your stock and handle way better. Pair these up with some eibach lowering springs and your set.

Easy Install, and worth the time!

This is a straightforward install, that goes together quickly. Even with no experience you should have this still done in 2 hours! The replacement really improved the ride quality!

        Cushion the blow

I'm so glad I got this set of shocks. Night and day difference from my old blown OE parts. I did notice a few small issues with these upon arrival. The paint coated the threads on the brake line bracket hole. Which could lead to crossthreading if not careful. Also, on the shocks, when installed the dust cover is rather loose. Which leads to an unwanted road noise. I plan to remedy this issue with rubber washers to make up the difference. Another issue I was worried about was one strut didn't extend as well as the other when I removed the banding. I had to pull the shaft out til I could screw on the nut. So far it doesn't seem to be affecting the ride quality. Definitely gonna keep a close eye on that strut. With all of that said I am loving the ride quality I have now.

        4 2007 GT500 - Jay Installation Time: Afternoon

Decent product at a fair price

Fit and finish of everything is good. Ride is pretty close to stock. New struts make a little more noise but at this price point I have no complaints.

5 2006 GT - Tiremarks Installation Time: Afternoon

        Good setup.

Put Orange on all four corners. Great change from the tired old stock setup. I’m tempted to take more corners now. Is that bad?

        returned to sender

this is just wrong, ship with no rubbers/washers or nuts, can't buy them at three top auto parts stores(total failure). one front shock after having someone swap out springs off stock shocks to get top rubber ring, to find out one new front shock with little to NO gas charge (total failure)

        A MUST for lowering springs

I lowered my 05 V6 with Steeda Ultralights trying to use OE new struts. They were blown out and clunking within a couple months. Ordered these Koni struts and have been solid for a couple years now. I also installed them when lowering my 08 GT with BMR Performance. The only issue I have had is having to drill the top hole to use the Eibach camber bolts. Somehow I didn't have to do that on my V6 with the same bolts. Save yourself time and get these when you get your springs or you'll be doing it again.

      5 Top Rated Questions

For a 2005 Mustang GT, do these require upper or lower isolators? I bought the better gt500 upper strut mount, but I see comments about needing the isolators...Is the spring really metal on metal with the strut base and directly touching the upper strut mount?

Do the OEM strut bellows fit this?

      • Yes, these will fit an otherwise stock application.

Will these work with the GT500 strut mount upgrade and the Eibach pro lowering springs on a 2005 mustang GT? Also will the Eibach camber bolts work with these strut's?

      • Yes, these struts will work with the GT500 strut mount upgrade kit, Eibach springs, and camber bolts.

OK, I see tons of reviews saying these work fine on 11-14 S197s with the GT500 strut mounts. But in the questions I see two responses from Ricky36 stating that the only way to make the GT500 strut mount work is to use Ford Racing springs and shocks. Which is correct?

      • These will indeed not fit a 2014 mustang with the Ford Performance GT500 Style Strut Mount Upgrade. For the GT500 strut mounts to work on a 2014 you will need to pair this up with Ford Racing shock/struts and springs from Ford racing.

Are the KONI shocks and struts good if I have the Eibach Sportline Springs on my 2008 Mustang gt?

      • The KONI STR.T Front Struts and Rear Shocks will pair well with the Eibach Sportline Spring Kit.

Hi, It says that this strut will only fit all 05-10 Mustangs. I have a 2012 GT500 will this work because it has the same Koni part number as the one that lethal performance has for sale and also the Koni website. On there websites it says part number 8750-1030 will fit 07-14 Shelby gt500's. 1 answer
I want to get these struts in conjunction with FORD RACING GT500 STYLE STRUT MOUNT UPGRADE (05-14 ALL), and EIBACH SPORTLINE SPRING KIT - COUPE CONVERTIBLE (11-14 GT, V6) for my GT. Will this combination work? 1 answer

How will these work with H&R Race Springs? I just purchased H&R Race Springs for my 09 V6, I am replacing my Eibach Sportlines as I don't like how the rear springs cause the car to rest on the bump stops. I figured when I take it apart I might as well go ahead and replace the shocks and struts as well. I was wondering how these struts and shocks would work with the H&R Springs? I am looking for something that I don't have to mess with the adjustments on them. More less just looking for a bolt on and go setup. If anyone could give me any input that would be great! 1 answer
