Solid Construction. The Kooks Axle-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips will give your Mustang GT that old-school muscle car sound, while also increasing its power numbers. This system is crafted from 3-inch diameter stainless steel tubing for high-strength and corrosion resistance. It comes equipped with two high-flow 3-inch round race mufflers that include 4-inch high-polished T304 stainless steel slash cut exhaust tips.

Performance Improvement. The Kooks Axle-Back system will relieve your Mustang of the stock and restrictive exhaust, and therefore improve your vehicle's overall exhaust flow. This will simultaneously result in an improvement in both power and performance. You will also enjoy a more aggressive exhaust note that undoubtedly similar muscle cars from back in the day.

Intermediate Installation. This axle-back system is designed to fit with your Mustang's stock exhaust without issue. Cutting of the factory exhaust is required. Light to moderate mechanical skill is necessary in order to properly perform this install. Total installation time is estimated to take approximately two hours.

Please Note. Kooks includes a bypass for the factory actuator valve that will allow this exhaust system to be used on Active Exhaust equipped vehicles. The exhaust note will not change with the factory settings. The bypass tricks the factory settings into thinking that the active exhaust is functioning properly.
