This kit delivers superior stopping power, enhanced heat dissipation, and reduced maintenance, making it a vital safety and performance enhancement.
Construction and Appearance. All components are made from durable cast iron, featuring MaxGrip XDS vented rotors that measure 11 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick to optimize cooling. The calipers are zinc plated to prevent corrosion and finished with a long-lasting red powder coat for both protection and aesthetics.
Installation. This conversion kit offers a straightforward direct bolt-on installation using existing factory mounting points without the need for drilling, simplifying the upgrade process.
Application. Specifically designed for Fox Body Mustangs from 1979 to 1986 equipped with 5-lug rear axle conversions, ensuring precise fitment when axle housing flange dimensions are verified prior to installation.
