Horsepower and Torque. Improve the performance of your 4.6L GT Mustang by replacing those restrictive factory manifolds with a set of LTH Long Tube Headers for an increase in horsepower and torque. LTH headers were developed to give you the best balance of low end and top end power when installed with a matching LTH shorty Mid Pipe.

Stainless Steel Construction. LTH Long Tube Exhaust Headers are manufactured in the USA from mandrel bent 2" diameter 304 stainless steel tubing for superior airflow, durability and corrosion resistance. They are completed in LTH's Titan™ Uniform Satin Finish for great looks.

LTH Titan™ Uniform Satin Finish. Titan™ is LTH's unique proprietary process that produces a bright uniform satin finish over the entire part to eliminate the ugly discoloration from welds, heat, and scratches that are encountered during manufacturing; making it the perfect exhaust finish for high end show cars. Not only does the process create a show quality finish, but it also strengthens the stainless steel to eliminate microscopic sharp edges created during welding that could, if not removed, become tears and cause the product to fail.

Required Upgrade. For proper operation and maximum power potential these Long Tube Headers will require reprogramming the vehicles computer. AmericanMuscle recommends a Bama custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles ECU for proper operation.

Application. These 2" LTH Long Tube Headers are designed to fit the 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the 4.6L 3V SOHC Modular V8 engine. LTH long tube headers will require the use of a LTH shorty Mid Pipe in order to be installed properly (see drop down option above).

Technical Note: This LTH product is intended for off road use, and is not legal for use in emission restrictive states.

I am assuming the primaries are 2", correct? Then what is the collector size? should be 4"? I can't tell from the pictures and it doesn't say in the description

    • The LTH Long Tube Headers come with 2" primary tubes and a 3" collector. The matching X pipes from LTH will then drop this down to 2.75"

What is your best performance headers for drag use with a 2007 gt, automatic, 3500 stall, mother thumper cams, vmp supercharger, 12 psi boost. Currently using shorty headers no cats and running 11.5 1/4 mile et. would I be better with long tube 1 5/8 or 1 7/8 or 2 in primaries?

    Boosted

    • The best kit for your setup will probably be the LTH Long Tube Headers - 2 in. They will provide the most air flow and definitely be a great addition with your supercharged setup.

      Worth it!

If you have the extra money and want the added power (over smaller diameter headers)...BUY THESE! Take it from my personal experience, had small diameter (budget friendly headers) on my current pony when I purchased her (my 3rd pony) and they were nice with good added power but...when I felt the immeadiate seat sinking power from these huge 2 inch LTHs over the previous (not to call anyone out BBK) headers I laughed louder and shook in my seat more than a little kid with a brand new rocket ship! Because that's how much of a difference the LTHs make with a racing tune. Get your rocket ship! CLICK HERE!
