Engineered for precise fit and function, this catalytic converter supports efficient vehicle operation and compliance with federal emissions requirements.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this converter features corrosion-resistant spun stainless steel construction. Its compact, low-mass design with mandrel-bent tubing preserves OEM-like geometry and optimal flow dynamics, ensuring durability, thermal efficiency, and a professional stainless finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no cutting or welding required, making it accessible for experienced DIY enthusiasts using proper tools. The direct-fit design combined with included two Torca clamps simplifies the mounting process, although inlet and outlet gaskets and mounting hardware are not included and may need to be sourced separately.
Application. Engineered specifically to fit the 1997-1999 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L (C5), this converter replaces original equipment parts and complies with federal emissions standards. It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
