Description
California Grade Compliance. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant is designed to maintain your vehicle's emissions standards and keep the check engine light off. It functions as a replacement catalytic converter for exhaust systems, reducing harmful emissions while ensuring optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter features highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel tubing and a spun stainless steel body finished in stainless steel for durability and longevity. It includes mandrel-bent tubing to maintain smooth exhaust flow, with precise laser fusion welding for minimal leaks and enhanced thermal efficiency.
Installation. Installation is simplified with a direct-fit design validated through 3D scanning technology, allowing for do-it-yourself application without cutting or welding. It uses OE-sized barbed exhaust hangers for mounting and includes two donut gaskets. The flanged inlet requires no clamps. The inlet gasket is included, but no outlet gasket or additional mounting hardware is provided.
Warranty. This catalytic converter comes with a limited 5-year construction and emissions warranty for added peace of mind.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 97-99 Corvette C5.
