Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 3-Inch provides effective emissions control designed to reduce emissions and help keep the check engine light off in vehicles that meet the compatibility requirements. It meets the strict emissions standards set by the California Air Resources Board, helping ensure compliance and environmental responsibility.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter features a compact, lightweight design with a round stainless steel body in a natural finish. The ceramic substrate and single laser fusion weld improve thermal efficiency and help reduce the risk of leaks, while providing excellent corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires professional welding as clamps, hangers, and gaskets are not included. The compact design is suitable for mounting in confined spaces; some fabrication may be necessary to ensure proper fitment.
Warranty. This catalytic converter includes a construction and emissions warranty that covers quality and compliance for an extended period.
