Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; Standard Grade; 2.25-Inch; Rear is engineered to effectively reduce vehicle emissions, ensuring compliance with federal environmental regulations. Crafted from highly corrosion-resistant 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter features durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds for long-lasting reliability. The clam-shell body type is finished in stainless steel and comes with an attached aluminized steel heat shield for optimal protection and performance under extreme operating conditions. The internal ceramic substrate is housed in a robust oval-shaped body designed for universal installation.
Installation. Installation of this catalytic converter requires welding and is recommended to be performed by a professional. Its compact and lightweight design allows installation in confined areas without clamps or hangers, but some custom fitting may be necessary.
