Classic Muscle Car Sound. Give your Ford Mustang the deep, classic muscle car sound it deserves with a set Magnaflow Performance Series Mufflers. Magnaflow Performance Series Mufflers feature a free-flowing, straight-through perforated stainless steel core, stainless mesh wrap and acoustical fiber fill to deliver that smooth, deep tone.

Magnaflow Quality. Manufactured from 16 gauge stainless steel for it's corrosion resistant properties, this Magnaflow Performance Series Muffler features lap-joint welds for rock solid construction and reliable durability even in the most extreme conditions. Magnaflow backs their mufflers with a Lifetime Warranty.

Specifications. The Magnaflow Performance Series Muffler's outer case measures 4" x 9" x 14" with and overall length of 20", and features a 2.5" diameter inlet and outlet in an offset configuration. Magnaflow mufflers are reversible making them perfect for custom applications.

Application. This Satin Finish Magnaflow Performance Series Muffler will fit 1979 to 2004 Mustangs, including the LX, V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994-1998 SVT Cobra models equipped with a 2.5" diameter exhaust system. Excludes 1999-2004 SVT Cobras with IRS. Sold individually.

    Good Sound But Quieter Than Expected

    I bought these mufflers because the other mufflers I had droned a lot on the highway. These mufflers definitely took away the drone that I was experiencing. It still has a good throaty growl when you rev it up, and when cruising around, but it is quite a bit quieter than I thought it would be. The install took 2 hangers, and about 4 pieces of extra tubing to get it fit in there. When I installed mine it required welding because of the catback system I have in place, and it took about 2 hours to do. If you want good sound with less drone on the highway, I would recommend these.

    Just the sound I wanted

    I love the magnaflow sound, it gave me a smooth sound at idle but when you step into it getting on the highway...real musclerosis car sound.

    Best in the business

    Bought these to replace my old three chamber loud and obnoxious mufflers and i wish i would have sooner. It was so easy to order get my new mufflers and get them exactly when American Muscle said i would. Fit was perefect took a little longer than i thought to take the old mufflers off but overall not bad. The sound is incredible its much more tame sounding but at high rpm you can deffinately hear the roar of the engine come out. Gotta be the best mufflers out there I absolutely love them i recommend to any mustang owner for sure.
