The Tail Light Conversion Decal Kit in matte black is available for any '99 to '04 New Edge Mustang owner who is literally looking to put as minimal effort and as little money as possible to give your tail lights and rear end a new look. The vinyl overlays will give your SN95 a look similar to that of the late S197 model tail lights, since they're strategically cut for that design. The installation is extremely simple given that they are just vinyl decals, so expect one 1 of 3 wrenches on our difficulty meter. There are a ton of new ways to get a new look for your New Edge, literally endless possibilities ranging from 20 bucks to, like, 2000 and more. Tail lights can cost a pretty penny, not necessarily 2000, but you could spend upwards of, like, 400 bucks for a similar design and a full tail light replacement. That late S197 tail light design is something that a lot of people, including myself, will consider one of the most iconic iterations of the Mustang tail lights since Ford started this back in the 60s. If you're not looking to spend that much money on an aftermarket light that encompasses that look of the S197s, or if you don't wanna spend that much time on it, then this is one of the easiest and the fastest ways to do so. Now, I'm not saying sticking some well-cut vinyl onto your tail lights is the same thing as buying a more modernized full replacements, but for about 30 bucks, they're gonna change the look for sure, and they're gonna do a specific job. Now, they're cut in a way that you can apply them to your stock tail light lens, and because they're a dark matte black, they'll black out certain aspects of the red so that the lighting shining through will make your brakes look like those newer-model tail lights, the way that they're cut. Now, it's a fraction of the cost with minimal effort, like I said. Some guys might be a little unhappy about it, but if you're looking for that quick change, there really isn't a quicker option than this. They're made from a 4-mill wrapping cast vinyl, which is some of the highest quality stuff, they have integrated clear-coat layers for protection, and then air-release technology that helps force out air bubbles for a smooth finish. They're made to last for at least eight years in the harshest weather climates when applied right, so they'll last long no matter what the climate conditions are. The install just takes a soap-and-water mixture in a squirt bottle and the squeegee included in the kit. You'll just wet the area with soap and water and clean it off with a dry rag to make sure there's no dirt and dust. Cleaning products like Windex and other chemicals just won't do as well as good old soap and water because they'll actually prohibit the vinyl from getting a good bond with the lens. Once they're clean, carefully apply the vinyl to the lens and use the squeegee to push out any air bubbles and wrinkles. Repeat for each cutout piece, and you're good to go. Now, remember the cleaning portion of this entire process is the absolute most important. Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of a '99 to '04 Mustang, you might wanna check out the Tail Light Conversion Decal Kit in matte black which is available right here at americanmuscle.com.
