Description

The McLeod Aluminum Flywheel; 6 Bolt is engineered to reduce rotational mass and improve engine response, making it ideal for high horsepower engines and rapid RPM applications such as supercharged or turbocharged setups. This flywheel offers enhanced clutch performance and quicker throttle response, essential for performance driving.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum, this flywheel is CNC machined for precision and durability. It features a replaceable steel friction plate and a hardened 1045 steel ring gear designed to withstand intense use. The finish provides a clean, durable surface suited for demanding performance environments.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and does not require additional drilling. The flywheel includes alignment pins to ensure proper pressure plate alignment and to strengthen the assembly.
Warranty. This flywheel includes a 90-day warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal installation and use.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 98-02 5.7L Camaro.
