The McLeod Original Street Twin Disc Ceramic Clutch Kit with Aluminum Flywheel for Cable Linkage Applications; 26-Spline is engineered to handle high horsepower street vehicles. It is ideal for drivers seeking durability and reliability under demanding conditions such as forced induction or big cubic inch engines. This clutch kit ensures excellent power transfer while maintaining drivability for street applications.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This clutch assembly features advanced materials including an organic or ceramic disc paired with a lightweight billet aluminum flywheel for improved rotational mass. The flywheel incorporates a 157-tooth ring gear to ensure smooth engagement and reliable starting performance. The surfaces are precision machined for optimal fit and function.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians and requires no modifications or drilling. The kit is designed to bolt directly onto compatible factory components using supplied hardware and recommended torque specifications.
WARRANTY. This product is backed by a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use and installation.
APPLICATION. Specifically designed to fit the 1986-1995 5.0L Mustang equipped with the small block Ford engine and cable linkage system. It is not compatible with other drivetrain or vehicle configurations outside this specification.
