Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE TWIN DISC. The McLeod SFT 2000 Ceramic Clutch Kit with 157-Tooth Aluminum Flywheel; 26-Spline is engineered to handle up to 2000 horsepower, making it ideal for high-power street and racing applications. This twin disc setup provides smooth engagement with factory hydraulic compatibility, enhancing drivability without sacrificing performance. Its design allows it to fit within the stock bellhousing and use stock clutch actuation components, preserving factory functionality.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The clutch kit features two ceramic semi-metallic discs housed in a 10.5-inch pressure plate constructed in the Borg & Beck long style. An aluminum flywheel with a steel heat shield improves thermal management and reduces rotational mass. The solid hub and high-quality materials ensure durability and consistent engagement over extended use.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with no need for modifications or drilling on compatible vehicles. This clutch kit is designed to fit directly into the factory bellhousing and works with existing hydraulic clutch systems, simplifying the upgrade process for most users.
WARRANTY. The product includes a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
APPLICATION. This clutch system is designed specifically for the 1979 through 1995 5.0L Mustang, fitting these models without exclusions.
