Description
High-Power Street Clutch. The McLeod SFT 2000 Ceramic Clutch Kit with 8-Bolt Steel Flywheel; 26-Spline is designed to deliver reliable clutch engagement for high-horsepower street and performance vehicles. It provides smooth operation while supporting up to 2000 horsepower, making it ideal for vehicles requiring robust clutch performance without sacrificing drivability.
Construction and Appearance. The unit features twin ceramic discs with a solid hub for durability and heat resistance. The pressure plate uses a Borg & Beck Long style, and the flywheel is constructed from steel, ensuring strength and longevity. The clutch components are engineered to fit within the factory bellhousing while utilizing factory hydraulic actuation, maintaining a clean and professional installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require modifications such as drilling. The clutch kit fits directly onto compatible modular Ford engines with an 8-bolt crank and uses existing hydraulic systems for engagement.
Warranty. This product includes a 90-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
Application. Specifically fits the 96-04 Mustang Cobra and Mach 1, 07-09 Mustang GT500, and 11-17 Mustang GT models, providing a direct replacement for these vehicles without modification.
