Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a way to keep your ride cool all while making a dramatic visual improvement under the hood as well, I’m talking about these Mishimoto aluminum radiators for your 94-04 Mustang. Mishimoto has become one of the industry leaders in producing quality performance radiators for just about any vehicle you can think of, from bone stock daily drivers to hardcore professional race cars. These direct replacements are a great solution to an old, damaged, or leaking factory rad, or for a heavily modded or forced induction car, where the cooling system just can’t keep up with the increased cooling needs. The Mishimoto will help keep your street or strip Mustang much cooler by using this 2 row core, which is going to allow for a 25% increase in cooling capacity next to your stock radiator. Every Mishimoto radiator is constructed using durable lightweight aluminum, features leak proof fittings, and are all hand welded to ensure top notch quality and fitment. On top of all that, every Mishimoto radiator is backed by a no questions asked, limited lifetime warranty. A big feature with the Mishimoto is their patent pending floating bracket mounting system, that eliminates a major flaw in the factory mount design. Because of the Mustangs torque the front of the car tends to flex under load, which can sometimes lead to a damaged radiator. The floating brackets attach to the side of the radiator, using these rubber grommets to absorb any movement, in addition Mishimoto has added breaks to the top and bottom header plates, that allow the radiator to flex without being damaged. Getting this installed may be slightly more difficult than installing say, a cold air intake for instance, but honestly it’s not that bad. Think of it as a giant oil change. Before getting started you will need something on hand to hold all that fluid, in this case we recommend having at least a 15 quart drain pan on hand, before you start draining your fluids. Once you get all the fluids drained, remove the hoses from the stock radiator, unbolt it, and remove it from the engine bay. Reinstall the new Mishimoto in reverse order, reattach the hoses and fill it with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Doing all this should take you no more than 2 hours. Any gearhead knows that heat is one of the worse enemies of performance, it can hurt power, damage your fuel mileage and worse of all damage your motor. So if you want to help your Mustang keep its cool whether it’s on the street or the track, then you’ll definitely want to check out one of these Mishimoto performance aluminum radiators, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Keep Cool. Whether running your Mustang hard at the track, the strip, or on the street, it's important to keep temps down to keep power levels up and protect your engine. If you're having trouble keeping things cool, a Mishimoto Mustang radiator has up to 25% more cooling capacity than your OEM radiator making it a must-have mod.

Floating Bracket Stabilizer System. High torque engines and body flex can cause radiator end tanks to crack or separate from the core, in order to eliminate this issue Mishimoto has engineered a patent-pending floating bracket stabilizer system that allows their radiators to "float" freely with out binding or cracking under stress.

Lightweight Aluminum. Mishimoto Radiators are crafted of lightweight high-quality aluminum. Each radiator is hand-welded to which ensure a perfect fit and great underhood appearance.

Leak-Proof Design. Other aftermarket radiators have a design problem that causes leakage from the outlet to the overflow reservoir. Unlike other manufacturer, Mishimoto uses specially designed brass fittings to ensure leak-free performance. And all of their radiators are pressure tested twice before leaving the factory so you can install your new radiator with confidence.

Application. This Mishimoto Mustang Radiator is designed for the 1997 to 2004 Mustang GT, Mach 1, Bullitt and the 1997 to 2001 SVT Cobra models. Fits manual transmissions only.

      Didn't Leak

It's thicker, cools better, and doesn't leak. Little tight, but there's room. Install is a breeze. Cools my M112 supercharged factory 2v making 450whp on 93 pump. I'd recommend this.

      Dissapointed

My radiator arrived with a dent in the right tank. I made the decision to go ahead and use it because I wanted to run my new engine build. However the quality of the construction is what lead to my decision. I have no doubt that had I informed AM it would have been taken care of. Worked out great.

      Quality Product.

The product itself is great. Great looking and fit as promised. Very easy install. Only reason I gave four stars is they do not include any instructions. I had to rely on the reviews of others on American muscle and I was able to download instructions from American muscle that made the install easier. For the price they should include vehicle specific instructions.

Great product but not much change

Great look and fit, does the job. I did not notice a difference upon install. My 97 Cobra still ran just as hot, even coupled with Edelbrock water pump. It was not until I had my tuner cut down the cooling fan kick on time before I actually saw my engine run cooler. I'd try the tune and thermostat change first. Great supporting mod but won't change the fact that the SN95s are going to run HOT.

      Excellent Upgrade

It was time for me to replace my radiator after it failed on me. After reviews and comparison, I decided to go with the Mishimoto radiator. Excellent product for price and quality, package was very nice. Took a few hours to install, the only problem I had was that the supplied bolts were slightly too big for the sleeves/metal collars, but I was able fix it. Now I drive with confidence knowing my cooling system operating very well in this sunny weather, along with the Mishimoto radiator lifetime warranty. Highly recommend!!!!

      Radiator replacement

Great product, fit and Finnish was top notch in my opinion. Install was interesting, I had to relocate battery temporally and sneek the radiator past the AC lines on the passenger side. Can be done just have to be patient. Once it's installed I've noticed the temp is more consistent when doing 1and2 gear shenigans for a prolonged amount of time

      all aluminum high performance radiator

You just cant beat the benifits for this for the price vs stock, is thicker than stock too, no plastic, even the drain plug is metal with a magnet, was built with performance in mind! Always good idea to change out the hoses too if they are due, i did a 180 thermostat too vs stock 192 or 195, helps during hot weather in FL, no issues.

Nice quality with a few challenges to install

The radiator was well packaged for shipping ensuring it wouldn't get damaged. Unfortunately, Mishimoto doesn't include any directions with it, so you'll have to look it up online to verify installing the stabilizer bars. Install would have been fairly quick and easy, but the increased thickness and the addition of the bolts on the side for the stabilizer present a couple of challenges. Plan on having to bend the A/C lines a decent amount. I also had to remove the battery and battery tray along with the passenger side stabilizer bar to get it in. Once it's in though it fits like a glove. So far I've seen a drop in temps even in the Texas summer heat idling with the A/C on.

      It's COOOOL

Well constructed, does the job. Nothing wrong with my stock radiator, just felt paranoid running a stock radiator especially during the California summer. Looks cool under the hood. Had it for almost 4 months and still runs good. Warranty for life no questions asked! Probably one of the reasons' why I chose that over the SVE. Took my time and took about 2 hours.

Nice idea, need to add a few more pieces

The overall build of the radiator appears to be good quality. Getting it in isn't that difficult. However, I would think that they would include a fix for the lines coming out of the ABS module. It looks like it would need some washers on one side to move the line positions.
