Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a way to keep your ride cool all while making a dramatic visual improvement under the hood as well, I’m talking about these Mishimoto aluminum radiators for your 94-04 Mustang. Mishimoto has become one of the industry leaders in producing quality performance radiators for just about any vehicle you can think of, from bone stock daily drivers to hardcore professional race cars. These direct replacements are a great solution to an old, damaged, or leaking factory rad, or for a heavily modded or forced induction car, where the cooling system just can’t keep up with the increased cooling needs. The Mishimoto will help keep your street or strip Mustang much cooler by using this 2 row core, which is going to allow for a 25% increase in cooling capacity next to your stock radiator. Every Mishimoto radiator is constructed using durable lightweight aluminum, features leak proof fittings, and are all hand welded to ensure top notch quality and fitment. On top of all that, every Mishimoto radiator is backed by a no questions asked, limited lifetime warranty. A big feature with the Mishimoto is their patent pending floating bracket mounting system, that eliminates a major flaw in the factory mount design. Because of the Mustangs torque the front of the car tends to flex under load, which can sometimes lead to a damaged radiator. The floating brackets attach to the side of the radiator, using these rubber grommets to absorb any movement, in addition Mishimoto has added breaks to the top and bottom header plates, that allow the radiator to flex without being damaged. Getting this installed may be slightly more difficult than installing say, a cold air intake for instance, but honestly it’s not that bad. Think of it as a giant oil change. Before getting started you will need something on hand to hold all that fluid, in this case we recommend having at least a 15 quart drain pan on hand, before you start draining your fluids. Once you get all the fluids drained, remove the hoses from the stock radiator, unbolt it, and remove it from the engine bay. Reinstall the new Mishimoto in reverse order, reattach the hoses and fill it with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Doing all this should take you no more than 2 hours. Any gearhead knows that heat is one of the worse enemies of performance, it can hurt power, damage your fuel mileage and worse of all damage your motor. So if you want to help your Mustang keep its cool whether it’s on the street or the track, then you’ll definitely want to check out one of these Mishimoto performance aluminum radiators, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

2002 GT Mishimoto radiator
This looks like an excellent high-quality radiator that came well packaged a little more difficult to install than expected but actually no problem for an average backyard mechanic. This thing is like three times the radiator of the originalHelpful (0)

Worth the money
Prior to purchasing this mishimoto radiator, I was in a back n forth with champion radiators. 3 times returning and receiving new radiators I decided to try something different. This mishimoto radiator has held up to my standard and best of all no leaks and having to deal with returns. Product is definitely worth itHelpful (0)

I love it! I have to say. It was an absolute pain to put in. The bracket on the passanger side rubs the ac lines. Couldn't get it in with the bolts in on the passanger side for the bracket on the rad. Left the bolts out and put them in after I got the rad set in the dowls. Not gonna lie.... It kicked my butt for a good solid hour just putting it in. From taking the old put and the new in, took about 3 hours give or take.Helpful (1)

Quality is great for N/A Cars!
This is a well made radiator that is definitely awesome for an N/A mustang but it WILL NOT FIT if you have a Vortech supercharger installed. I found out after trying to cram it in there and finding out the piping will not fit with the radiator in and then getting the fan in just isn't happening. The radiator is awesomely make, its heavy (Quality) its light (aluminum), but do not try to put in if you have a supercharger. Its too wide and I could not get mine to line up and go down all the way. Needless to say I have a brand NEW Mishimoto radiator for sale now.Helpful (1)

First off I have to say I love the quality of the radiator there is nothing wrong with it as long as you were running n/a in fact the only issue I have with it is I run V2 Vortech Supercharger and the radiator and supercharger piping does not go well it makes you have to forces the hood closed because of the where the inlet is for the upper radiator hose just thought that an aftermarket radiator being as high name brand as this would support basic bolt on mods that's the only complaint other than that love the radiatorHelpful (1)
