Justin: The MMD master cylinder cover here is a great way to help clean up the engine bay on your 2005 to 2014 Mustang by covering up the unsightly master cylinder and all of the brake lines. Now, the MMD option here will be made from a molded ABS plastic and can be had for right around that $60 to $70 price point. Install is going to be extremely easy and straightforward. So I figure soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, maybe 15 minutes of your time to complete from start to finish, as we'll show you later in the video. So full disclosure guys, I actually had this cover here, the master cylinder option along with the battery cover from MMD on my Supercharged S197. And, man, did it really do a good job of cleaning up the bay. Now, if you did wanna grab both at the same time, the matching MMD battery cover along with this option, you can. It's on the site, and you can find that under item number 407719.But getting back to the master cylinder cover here, you'll notice the molded ABS plastic construction along with the slightly texturized black finish, which really helps these covers, kind of, disappear visually in the engine bay, making for a much cleaner look. Now I have actually seen some guys and gals out there who have prepped and paint matched these things to the color of their ride, which is also another possibility with the MMD covers as well. Now, when installed the covers will span from the plastic cowl cover on the firewall to the backside of the shock tower, all the way over to the inner fender, and also near the coil cover. So you're getting a good amount of coverage with these installed and, ultimately, again, it is enough to cover up the unsightly master cylinder and all of the corresponding brake lines.Install really couldn't get any easier here, gang. You are going to use some new Christmas tree clips or pins that have been included with the kit along with incorporating the small amount of pre-installed 3M tape right here on the side, which is gonna make for a very simple day. But to give you a better idea of just how things will go down on your S197 at home, feel free to check out our detailed walkthrough now.Man: Tools for this install: a flathead screwdriver or a Phillips head screwdriver. Hey guys, we have another easy install of a master cylinder cover. I'm gonna show you how to do that now. Now, there's a couple pushpins located in the cowl behind the master cylinder. They do have a Phillips head screwdriver top. However, we found it easier to just take a flathead and push that pin through, that way you could get them removed. Now, with the supplied Velcro strip for the master cylinder cover, place that at the beginning of your hood latch cable. Now, taking your cover and the kit-provided pushpins, we can secure it down to the cowl.Justin: And that's gonna wrap it up for our review and install of the MMD master cylinder cover fitting your '05 to '14 Mustang.
