Description
Premium Twin Disc Clutch. The Monster Clutch Co. SK Series Kevlar Twin Disc Clutch Kit with Billet Steel Flywheel is engineered to handle up to 800 RWHP/RWTQ while maintaining a smooth, stock-like driving experience. Designed for high-performance uses including street, drag, and road racing, this clutch kit provides exceptional durability without sacrificing pedal effort or engagement feel.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch assembly utilizes segmented Kevlar™ clutch discs combined with a billet steel flywheel, delivering high strength and heat resistance. The pressure plate is based on the factory GM LT1 setup, modified for improved load and release characteristics. The flywheel is CNC machined and balanced to tight tolerances, finished with a durable plated steel texture that ensures longevity and reliability under high stress.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills, with no additional drilling necessary as it is designed to bolt directly to compatible OEM components. It includes all necessary hardware and a standard alignment tool to simplify the process.
Warranty. This clutch kit comes with an optional no questions asked warranty for added peace of mind.
Application. Specifically designed for the Chevrolet SSR, providing a direct performance upgrade without altering factory pedal feel or requiring hydraulic system modifications.
