Description
Performance Hood Upgrade. The MRT Hood Struts upgrade replaces the traditional factory hood prop rod with smooth, gas-assisted struts that enhance underhood appearance and ease of use. These struts allow the hood to open and remain securely lifted, keeping the engine bay uncluttered and improving overall convenience.
Construction and Appearance. Built with a heavy-duty, rugged design, these hood struts ensure durability and long-lasting performance. The brackets feature a powder-coated finish that resists rust.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required and no special tools needed; it can be completed in about 30 minutes. The struts attach directly to existing factory mounting points, preserving the vehicle’s integrity and simplifying the upgrade.
Application. Designed specifically for 2015–2023 Mustang GT, EcoBoost, and V6 models, these hood struts are not compatible with 2015–2020 GT350 or right-hand drive Mustangs.
