This axle-back exhaust gives your stock exhaust sound a gravelly bass-rich tone that’s just as muscular as your ride’s style. What’s more, this new sound is virtually drone-free from the inside so you get to enjoy all your drives in relative quiet.
Improved Performance. This axle-back exhaust also provides your Mustang with improved power and torque courtesy of its muffler delete design and free-flowing form. By deleting your system’s rather restrictive mufflers and replacing them with free-flowing plumbing, this axle-back encourages the faster exit of exhaust gases. This, in turn, allows your engine to “breathe” more freely for practical improvements in performance.
Sturdy Stainless Steel Build Quality. This MRT Street Race axle-back exhaust is manufactured from premium 2.50-inch T304 stainless steel tubes for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, these stainless steel tubes are fully mandrel bent and expertly welded for extra rigidity and consistent performance. Rounding out its construction are quad-style 4-inch wide slant cut exhaust tips made from polished stainless steel, offering a classy style.
Practical Install Procedure. This axle-back exhaust is designed to install into your vehicle, replacing your stock exhaust’s tailpipe and muffler section. Since this exhaust is a muffler delete style axle-back, you will have to cut out this section of your stock exhaust. Apart from this step, installation is a practical process that won’t require welding or specialized tools to complete.
