Description
Driveline Enhancement. The Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Carrier Upgrade with Street (Soft) and Track (Hard) Bushings improves driveline precision by reducing slop and maintaining proper driveshaft alignment. Designed to replace sagging OEM center bearing carrier bushings, it enhances throttle response, shift firmness, and reduces unwanted driveline movement under load.
Construction and Appearance. This upgrade features a durable, two-piece clamping design that fits around the OEM bearing and is made with high-quality materials offering softer street or firmer track bushing options, allowing you to choose quieter operation or a more direct, responsive feel.
Installation. Installation requires cutting off the original carrier but does not require removal or disassembly of the driveshaft. No drilling or complex disassembly is needed, making for a relatively straightforward upgrade.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2005-2014 Mustang GT and GT500 models equipped with V8 engines (4.6L and 5.0L) and compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions. This product does not fit V6 models as they do not have a center support bearing.
