Description
PRECISION OXYGEN MEASUREMENT. The O2 Oxygen Sensor; Upstream provides accurate monitoring of oxygen levels in the exhaust gases before they reach the catalytic converter. This sensor plays a critical role in engine management by enabling optimal fuel mixture adjustments, improving fuel economy, and reducing emissions.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted with double-layered 310S stainless steel, this sensor features an isostatic-pressed and plasma-sprayed design for extended lifespan and durability. It employs a planar wide-band design and includes a heated element for efficient operation. The wiring harness measures 628 mm and terminates in a square-shaped, five-terminal female connector.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with a specific fit design that requires no modifications or drilling. A vehicle computer reset may be necessary post-installation to ensure proper sensor integration.
WARRANTY. This part includes a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the duration of intended use.
APPLICATION. Designed specifically to fit the 15-17 Mustang GT for direct replacement without any fitment issues.
