Description
Performance Turbo System. The On3 Performance LSX Swapped Single Turbo System is engineered to deliver exceptional power and reliability for LSX engine swaps in Foxbody Mustangs from 1979 to 1993. This system enhances engine efficiency and power output by providing optimized forced induction, making it ideal for high-performance applications and racing enthusiasts.
Construction and Appearance. The system features headers constructed from thick wall 304 stainless steel tubing for durability and heat resistance. The cold side components utilize bead rolled 6061 aluminum with a polished finish for both strength and visual appeal. The downpipe is made of stainless steel, designed to withstand power levels up to approximately 1000 horsepower, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill. Some aftermarket K member compatibility issues exist, particularly with UPR and QA1 K members, so verifying fitment prior to installation is essential. Depending on turbo and setup choices, custom fabrication of the downpipe or other components may be necessary.
Application. Designed exclusively for 87-93 Mustang models with LSX engine swaps, this turbo system is tailored to fit the specific engine bay dimensions and mounting requirements of the Foxbody chassis during these model years.
