Hey everyone, I'm Justin with This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come.Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already.Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner.Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out.You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at

            Better then stock for sure!

It’s way better then stock! The bedding is where I had issues due to where I live. Small streets etc etc. I did what I could, no issues so far!

3 2014 GT - KC Installation Time: Afternoon

            Good overall

Ordered this brake kit and got it in not time. Was a little concerned about the packaging of the product as the boxes were torn and heavily taped, but no damage was found with the product. Overall the brakes are very good. The look is the most impressive thing and there is a huge reduction in the brake dust on the rims. The stopping power is solid but not really much better than my previous stock brakes. The worst part about these brakes is the high pitch squeal they make when it is cold or wet outside. If the car sits in these conditions for any length of time (a couple hours or more) the brakes squeal very loudly during the first couple of stops until they get warm and then no problem. Thankfully it only lasts a couple of minutes however, it's pretty embarrassing at 1st and draws attention for the wrong reasons.

            Horrible Squeaking

Brakes look and stop good, but they squeak like crazy whenever they are hot. The brakes are properly lubed and broken in. The sound actually occurs from the pads contacting the rotor surface.

            Power stop rotors/pads

Unfortunately these brakes didn't do it for me. The initial shipment sent had pads which were crumbling apart. A second set was sent and they work, however compared to my stock they don't have enough stopping power. These pads initial bite on the rotars when you brake is not strong enough. My stock Brembo pads and rotors were substantially better. Asked for an exchange for didnt pads and rotors from AM, but unfortunately was not offered any help which is disspointing given I've been a customer since they started as Would not recomend this product. Not enough stopping power.

            Great performance for the cost

I replaced my stock brembo brake rotors on my 2014 mustang gt brembo package and the power stop kit didn't cost much more than replacing with the stock rotors and pads. I don't notice a big difference in stopping power but they look great with the track pack wheels. Install was easy and instructions were clear. Definitely do the break in procedure for the brakes, I did and the brakes do not squeak at all.

Super sast shipping and great product

I ordered these rotors and pads and they came in two days later, super fast shipping. The product its self is very good and I'm pleased with how they look on the car. Not much of a performance difference but it definitely gets the job done. The only bad things i have to say about it is that when you go to drive the car if its been sitting overnight or an afternoon the have very high pitched loud whine when braking until they get warmed up then its all good and also the installation with the front two were very difficult because the way the front Brembo Brakes are made I had to have a licensed mechanic give me a hand with the fronts. Other than that great product and probably will purchase again when time comes.

Brembo brake 2013 GT Prem Conv

The brake pads and rotors looked sharp when they arrived and front installation was like any normal brake. Rear also installed fine, just need a tool to twist the calipers back in. You can rent that tool at AutoZone or buy it for around $60. After install, the break in procedure was easy. Total time was about 3 to 4 hours.

            Great rotors, poor pad kit

Purchased this kit in Nov for my '11 GT with Brembo. Despite numerous bedding attempts, I cannot seem to quiet the front pads. When cold, if I apply very light pressure coming into a stop, the pads find a harmonic that is deafening. Once the rotors warm the harmonic range changes and there isn't an issue. Ceramic pads with these rotors are no good...or I just got a bad batch. Off to Autozone for OEM replacement.

            Good Product, no major complaints.

These don't really add any extra performance, but they look great. For the low price they are worth it even if they are mostly a visual thing more than anything else. Feels and performs the same as stock mostly.

            Looks amazing, work great!

Never installed rotors or break pads before. Took quite a bit of time but not bad for my first time. I think I'd rather pay someone the next time since my car is really low to the ground, but as far as the product is concerned, it was easy fit and works amazing! Only squeak in cold weather but that's initially.
