Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com. This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come. Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already. Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner. Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out. You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at americanmuscle.com.

More Stopping Power. Give your S197 Mustang the stopping power it deserves with the addition of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled and Slotted Front Rotors. Power Stop makes upgrading components of your brake system easy by practicing precise machining and casting of their brake rotors. All of Power Stop's Rotors have been mill balanced for a perfect fit and to reduce the chance of any unwanted NVH.

Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Power Stop Rotors offer you dual benefits. The drilled holes allow for up to 180 degrees of cooling over stock under hard braking and slots, which create a clear contact patch between your pad and rotor and are designed to sweep away gas and dust. Power Stop Rotors are crafted from the finest blanks on the market and feature G3000 grade castings that have been silver zinc plated to resist rust.

Application. This front pair of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors are specifically designed for use on 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt as well as 2011-2014 V6 Mustangs.

if i order 1 pair (meaning qty:1) for 103.99 am i going to get one rotor in the mail? or am i going to get 2 rotors in the mail?

        • This will be $103.99 for 2 front rotors.

Are these rotors stock size or larger, I am looking for the largest front and rear rotors that will fit on a 2006 gt stock size wheels.

        • The Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Rotors will be the stock size for rotors. To increase the size of your rotors, you will need a big brake kit with new calipers/caliper mounting brackets to clear the larger rotors, or a big brake kit with monoblock calipers.

They look great and stop faster than factory. Got them mostly due to old rusty factory rotors

Warped Quickly - Less than 2 Years on DD

I was having terrible wobbling and decided to finally switch our the OEM rotors, front and back, with these while installing the same companies break pads. Warped rotors were the cause of the terrible shaking as the breaking was very smooth for about 3-6 months. Then the little shakes gradually came back. This is a daily driver that does experience the occasional WOT throttle and fast breaking coming off the freeways. But the majority of the time it's normal driving. I would not, can not, and will not recommend these under any circumstance unless you have a garage queen and just want a cool looking pair of rotors.

            Just as listed

Rotors came in just as listed, no damage or defects. They were a perfect fit and easy to install, I took my time and cleaned all the other brake parts and installed new bake pads before installing them, still only took about 1 1/2 hours for the front. I also put them on the back, took about the same time. So far they are working great, and what a good price.

Nice Rotors at a Good Price

Very nice rotors. Good quality, exact fit and they look good behind the wheels. As long as I was taking the calipers off I replaced the brake pads as well (Power Stop pads) and added some caliper covers. Make sure you have the right tools on hand (especially the special piston compression tool for the rear brake pistons, which is different than the front pistons). There are some good YouTube videos on how to complete the job. I was not in a rush so I took my time over the course of a weekend.

Need For Speed style look lol

There’s always doubt when trying a new product, read a few reviews went back and forth to other products but in all honesty if you want performance, you want it to last, take care of it and in return it’ll take care of you, the bite on these is indeed a difference, way more smoother sorta like that new car off the lot with a big bite you kinda gotta get use to, it makes that much of a difference, and going from a warped disc to these new ones made the ride way more smoother. and factory replacements were 200 bucks more and heavier, so you get style points performance points and an overall smoother coast all for less then factory prices so why not?

            Look and Feel good!

Not only are they some good and reliable rotors but they also look good. The indents and holes that were made specific on the rotors helps the rotors not get any hot spots, burn up, and let’s them cool and breathe properly for a smooth stopping. I haven’t had my car shake even the slightest when stopping which is great i would recommend these to everyone if you are looking for new rotors.

            Do Not Buy

I bought these for my 06 GT. It’s mainly a garage car, i drive it about 3-5k miles a year. I put these rotors and new pads on about 2 years ago and since then i’ve put on about 8k miles. The rotors are already warped and PowerStop’s customer service wouldnt do anything to help me because im “out of warranty”. 8k miles seriously?! Spend the money for better rotors and buy from a better company.

I bought these for the front of my 08 gt. They are a good stock replacement. They got rid of my steering wheel shake while braking. They are about 20lbs each.

            Easy install

Installed these with new pads as a replacement for the stock rotor that I had on the car. Hard to really say if it's an improvement, but it grips well enough compared to the rusted junk I had on there. The install took maybe 20 minutes a side

The metallurgy and technology that went into making the metal for these rotors and these rotors is top-notch I put a lot of miles on my car every single day no traffic in the morning higher speeds of 80 miles an hour or more for over 30 minutes and the way home is stop and go traffic for an hour and a half at least brake rotors still look amazing still very bright still very shiny

            RrrrrrrrrrT !

step up from my stock 05 GT rear brakes. Stops better then old stock pads and the new ceramic pad makes less dust on my new AM 18" chrome deep dish Bullitt wheels (less dust = less cleaning = more time for fun)! I actually purchased the ''Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Rotor and Pad Kit" for the Front and Rear and did the swap in a couple hours with little difficulty nor any fitment issues. The drilled and slotted rotors look awesome and stay looking that way as well it solved my issues with violent shaking when braking with my old stock rotors! I feel the front and rear kit was very reasonably priced for all I got and the look makes it all worth every penny. I would and I recommend this to anyone needing to replace their old worn brakes!
