Pypes engineered their Exhaust System with mandrel-bent tubing and high flow EPA compliant catalytic converters to greatly improve the exhaust flow of your GT, when compared to the stock factory setup, for impressive power gains across the board. A Pypes Long Tube Header Combo Kit is for those GT owners who really want to uncork the power and torque hiding inside their Mustang's engine.
Long Tube Headers. Pypes Long Tube Headers are constructed from free flowing, 1-5/8 inch diameter, CNC mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing. These headers feature a ball and socket design for optimal performance and a tight leak-free fit. These Long Tube Headers are then completed in a bright polished finish for impressive under hood styling.
X-Pipe; Race Car Growl. To significantly improve the flow of exiting exhaust gases, Pypes utilizes an X-Pipe which in return helps to increase power gains at higher RPMs. The included X-Pipe not only helps with power, but it also adds a raspy, race car growl to the sound of your GT's exhaust with its modern "X" crossover pipe design.
EPA Compliant Cats. The included catalytic converters are manufactured from a high quality 304 grade stainless steel with a durable factory style ceramic substrate design. These EPA compliant catalytic converters are the best on the market in terms of performance, design, and longevity. Expect more power, improved MPG, superior emissions, and sound control.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Pypes engineered their Long Tube Header Exhaust System to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original factory exhaust. There is no cutting or extra modifications required. Installation of this Pypes Exhaust can be completed in about a day with just basic hand tools.
Calibration Required. Installation of this Pypes Exhaust System will require the use of a Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for operation. By reprogramming your Mustang's ECU you will be able to realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer.
