    • This will work fine with a Ford flywheel. I used this clutch with the Ford Racing steel flywheel we offer.

      Best Bang for the Buck

After shopping around for prices, and comparing performance clutches for mildly modified mustangs, this is the best bargain in terms of price and performance. It grabs quickly and can handle punishment. I recommend it!

      Great clutch.

Installed the clutch and have put 300 miles on it so far during the breakin period. No chatter at all. Throw Out Bearing is still quiet and holding up good so far. Overall, I am very pleased with this clutch kit.

      Not too shabby

Considering the low price of this clutch it hits damn hard. I have a 99 GT making 260 hp to wheels, 300 tq to wheels with 3.73's. I can chirp 4th. A definite buy if you want a performance clutch without putting a hole in your wallet.

      RAM HDX Clutch

My 5.0 was in need of new clutch so opted for this RAM HDX Clutch. I steered clear of the OEM clutch only because I wanted a clutch that could handle the abuse that I was goiing to throw at it. I love the feel of the this clutch it engages smooth and grabs hard without slipping. The advice i can offer you is to ditch the t/o bearing in this kit and grap the Ford Racing one. I have about 3,000 miles on this clutch and my t/o bearing is chirpping like a cricket. Other than that the clutch is a great clutch for the money. Be aware of it's fast grabbing when releasing the clutch, it's easy to rear-end someone in town if your not paying attention. I'll buy this clutch again someday, if I ever wear this one out. Thanks American Muscle.

This clutch has terrific grip and lots of positive engagement! It fit perfect but getting the tranny out was a pain in the ass. It is also nice and quiet unlike the chattering POS stock clutch that was there before.

Buy it! You will love the grip, power, and the daily drive ability! Also, I have had a lot of these clutches in my cars and customer cars. Bottom line, get the clutch. You will also like the drag grab, if you race at all. Thanks!

      Very Good

This clutch works great. I have no real complaints for such a great value. Its took some abuse and after a transmission swap I got a glimpse of how the clutch is doing 3k later and all is well. Good clutch and a great value.

      Failed after 900 miles

I bought the clutch, it was shipped fast like usual with AM products. I had the clutch professionaly installed by my local transmission shop, and 900 miles later the clutch disc failed. Needles to say I will NEVER buy a RAM product again.

Clutch has excellent bite and feel. Went with a Ford Racing heavy duty throwout bearing instead of the one supplied.

      The Smoothest Clutch Ever

When you put the RAM HDX on your flywheel you take a step back and say wow! It looks very strong and quality built. Once you get out for your first ride you really see how good it is, I didn't feel any chatter what so ever and the engagement is like butter!
