What's going on, guys? I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com and today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown of the Roush Unpainted Front Fascia fitting your '05 through '09 Mustang GT and V6. So in this video I wanna talk about who this is going to appeal to, the construction and materials, as well as the manufacturing process by Roush, what you should expect to be spending, and then we're gonna take a quick look at what's entailed to get this installed onto your car. Well, I'm gonna be giving this a pretty light to a moderate two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and about a three-hour job, and I'll have a little bit more for you on that later.So if you're watching this video, no matter the motor or model Mustang you have, chances are you're likely in the process of looking to make a very big and bold and aggressive statement. And by getting into a different front fascia and installing one onto your car, it's gonna be a very inexpensive option in comparison to picking up a hood or, say, a body kit. So on the flipside, guys, if your Mustang was unfortunately involved in a front-end collision and you're in the process of literally putting the pieces back together, this might be a much more inexpensive and viable option in comparison to going down to your local dealership and having them price out a full clip, which I can probably guarantee it is gonna be that much more expensive than getting into an aftermarket set-up.Now additionally, if you're gonna be in the process of picking up a new front clip for your car, you're gonna see there's gonna be a variety of different options out there that could range from going from a GT 500 Front End Swap to a Saline Swap, or even a CS style. But the point that I wanna get across here is that with that legendary Roush name it's gonna come with a higher price tag as this is going to be a premium kit. So to piggyback onto that, if you've ever seen a Roush in person, owned some of their parts, or just taking a look at them, you're gonna know that their attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship is consistent throughout. Now, we're gonna see that Roush's manufacturing process is gonna be utilizing proprietary CAD data direct from Ford to ensure that you're gonna have a perfect fit every time.Now, we'll also see that this is going to be manufactured out of an AVS plastic-like material, which is not only going to be flexible but durable and tough enough to withstand anything you're gonna be putting your Mustang to. Now, one thing quick that I definitely need to mention here is that this kit is going to ship unpainted, and a really good suggestion that I have for you is gonna be to have this sent directly to a body shop as it's really great idea to let the professionals have their way with this as if you're gonna be buying this, you're likely gonna have it painted.So in terms of the pricing here, guys, that legendary Roush name is going to come in at a higher dollar amount, as this is a premium brand and you should expect to be spending about $680 for this kit. Now, I will throw it out there that this is gonna be exponentially cheaper than going out and piecing together either a GT 500 Front End Conversion Kit or either getting into a Saleen kit. I will add that everything on the table will come included in the kit, it's gonna range from the fascia itself, shields, auxiliary lighting harness down to your fog lights, as well as the mesh skins, as this is going to be essentially a turnkey kit for the front end of your Mustang.So switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like I had said up top, you should expect to be getting into a light to a moderate two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and easily a three-hour job to get this onto your car. Now, again, I do wanna mention that this is going to ship unpainted and it's gonna be a great idea to have this sent right to a body shop just to ensure that all the prep work as well as painting will be done correctly as well as accurately. But looking ahead, a couple of things that I might suggest having on hand easily is gonna be a couple of drill bits, a basic socket set, maybe a case of beer, and a couple of extra set of hands to help get this onto your car.So I do want to mention that despite this being a pretty involved install, I'm gonna be giving you a quick glance at just what's entailed here. To start, you're gonna need to pop your hood, remove your rad cover, and then work down to the 10-milimeter bolts holding that on. And then you're gonna need to get down to your wheel well and start removing the clips holding in most if not all of the trim on the underside, pull out your turn signals and a whole bunch of other equipment here.All right, guys, so while it's much easier said than done, I'm gonna stick to my guns here and give this definitely a light to a moderate two out of three on the difficulty meter, and we would definitely suggest having this professionally painted and installed as it's gonna make your life that much easier at the end of the day.All right, guys, so just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts, I definitely like this option from Roush not only based on the fact that I honestly think it is one of the most aggressive looking options out there, but for the fact that this is going to cost a fraction less than swapping into a GT500 Clip or even getting into a Saleen S281.So that's my quick review and breakdown of a Roush Front Fascia fitting the 2005 through 2009 Mustang GT and V6 available right here at americanmuscle.com.
